Great location, poor site selection
The staff were lovely. Very friendly. I didn't get a chance to broach the following with them as we were out at the golf during their office hours. So I never gave them a chance to assist with these concerns: Warning for anyone booking powered site 11. We were surprised by the proximity of our camp site to the toilet block and found we could clearly hear the speakers playing a local radio station in the toilets overnight as well as trucks and other loud vehicles on the main road. The light from the toilet block was bright enough to be seen in my tent. Also could hear people all night walking past our site to use the bathroom as it's right next to the main thoroughfare to the toilet block. Despite this, the holiday park is situated next to the beautiful Belair National Park. Spent many early mornings trail running through the park including the new parkrun that starts right next to the holiday park. Found out from a parkrun run director that there is apparently a 10% off deal if you mention on reservation that you're staying for parkrun. Good to know for next time and will likely try a cabin as they look amazing! Ending on a positive, the grounds are well kept, the facilities are clean, other amenities such as the shelter with bbqs and kitchen are pristine. The playground would be a highlight for my kids if I bring them next time and so much wildlife to see including kangaroos and koalas.

Pleasant enough
If you have kids with special needs, some of the guests might not be as tolerant as others places we have stayed so far. It was a pleasant place to stay, with easy access to several ways to keep kids very entertained enough to take a break for yourself as well.

Unpowered Camping (NO cars) - 5m
It was oky to start with as we entered. And I Come across with a weird, half smart, Bogan looking group as they were having good time with beer in hand and standing middle of the road like they own the Road. I was on foot with park map in my hand first they give me strange look like I am from another planet. Or I am in the wrong place. Anyway I walk past them and looked around where to setup my camp. On my return towards my car they ask me that whether I lost and I need help. I replied “ I am ok thanks” They all kind troll my answer . And said we are lost actually Hahaha. Later at night the place was like a bogans paradise. People yelling swearing extremely loud. It was clear they all were highly intoxicated. Park should setup rules as no Alcohol allowed. Park was good but the crowd was really Bad Bad. Not recommended for the families with young kids.

Unpowered Camping (no cars)
Such a great and easy place to camp. I was down for Gather Round and Belair National park was beautiful, comfy and accessible for all Adelaide had to offer of the big weekend. Would (and have!) definitely recommend staying here for entry level camping where having your phone charged and access to a shower is important 😉

Best base to explore Adelaide from.
Lovely staff and very well maintained facilities. Will be returning for our next Adelaide trip. Saw lots of kangaroos, ducks and even a few emu! Love being on the border of the Belair national park for a morning walk and a quick 20 minute drive into the city and surrounds.
