Primitive camping

Family-friendly
Recent Hipcampers say this Hipcamp is great for families and kids.
We are a hobby farm set on 100-acres on the North Dandalup scarp, with a few sheep. You will find kangaroos, echidnas, sometimes emus visiting our property. You can enjoy the great views into the horizon towards the Indian Ocean amidst the tall jarrah and gum trees. Campsites are set in the woodlands, some with views. It’s perfect for people seeking 'quiet' time away, but still near to amenities in the towns around here. You can take walks to experience forest therapy, have a campfire or canoe in the dams during wintertime. There is no power, water or toilet facilities so campers must be completely self-contained. You are expected to clear up and take all rubbish with you. Leave no trace. The terrain is rather hilly, hence a few sites are accessible only by 4WD (Sembawang and Changi). There are some sites that are still accessible with regular cars (Opera 1, 2 or 3; Tampines, Bedok). RVs and small caravans are welcomed. All vehicles have to stay on the paths, and not to make any tracks. During the summer fire season, fires are strictly prohibited! The fire ban commenced on 1 Oct 2023 (Shire of Murray). Dogs welcome (on leash).

Tampines
Amazing few days on Bea’s land on the Tampines site. So private , great view, plenty of space and did I say an amazing view. Clear evenings allowed amazing Milky Way sights. Really enjoyed our stay - a little a gem and not far from Perth. Thanks Bea.

Oh the serenity!
Great site, great view, semi isolated from All other campers. Amazing communication. The stars, the sun sets, the odd kangaroo and the opportunity to just get back to basics! Highly recommend this site. Thanks Bea - we would love to come back!

Beautiful weekend away
We loved our weekend on Bea’s property. When she knew we we going because our friends were going down we were able to stay with them on Tampines. Peace and quiet and beautiful view. Bea’s communication was wonderful. Would live to return.

Changi
Very peaceful and secluded spot . We stayed at Changi as we wanted a bigger site for 2 caravans. The only downside is no level ground so it took a bit of work to get things leveled up , would definitely recommend taking lots of blocks of wood to level up on.
