Beautiful Lake View!
Great spot! Beautiful view across the lake with swans & a few other birds floating by. Private with plenty of room to set up camp. There was also a big open area to kick a footy or the kids can ride around on bikes. Lovely level grassed areas & leading down to a sandy little bank to paddle in the warmer weather. Cosy fires at night with fure pit provided. Our dogs loved it too.

Site 2 - Edge of Tranquility at Wattle Farm
What a great spot! I camped solo with my little dog for the last couple of nights. Graeme and Carol weren't home and there were no other campers on site so we had the whole place to ourselves. There was enough firewood left on site for the 2 nights, it was lso the perfect sized wood to create great coals for the camp oven roast dinner. I launched my kayak from right in front of camp for an early morning paddle up and down the lake. While it is pretty exposed if the weather was rough, I had almost perfect conditions and a glassy flat lake to wake up to. Would recommend this spot to all and will definitely be back as it only 20 minutes from home.

Waterside camping with dogs!
The hosts are lovely - super easy communications!
We camped Easter 2024 on campsite 1 with multiple vans and tents and it was great!
Fully grassed, expansive views over the water and abundant bird life.
We brought our boat along which we were able to moor just off the jetty (water is relatively shallow a long way out so would not suit a boat with a deep draft though)
We took our dogs - who had a ball and did plenty of swimming! Perfect spot for stand up paddle boarding, kayaking and swimming in the warmer weather. We cooked up a feast over the campfire one night with wood provided by the hosts. There is a little jetty which is great to use and took some amazing pictures.
Fishing was awesome - out in the boat, about 300m to 1500m from the shoreline, we trawled silver lures and caught Taylor and Australian Salmon ( we maxed out bag limits!!!)
We loved hanging out with the young kelpie dog ‘Kika’ that the hosts were caring for at the time - she tired our dogs out entirely from all the running around and swimming!

Site 3 - Edge of Tranquility at Wattle Farm
Great Spot and Hosts
A great location right on the lakes. Lots of fun for the kids in and out of the water (they got to paddle with dolphins!). Graeme and Carol are fantastic and friendly hosts and generously share their beautiful property. Will definitely be back.
