Magnificent, spacious private property with stunning ocean views overlooking beautiful Bass Straight. We offer two camping options here: Self-contained sites in our back paddocks (these do not have ocean views from the campsites), or a single hilltop site that enjoys access to our fantastic camp cabin, and has ocean views. The Cabin site is perfect for caravaners and campers with full use of our large self-contained cabin. The cabin does not contain any beds but provides you with access to a kitchen, bathroom, and toilet for your stay. Enjoy the fun of the outdoors with all the convenience of full indoor amenities (BYO towels). Hang out in the spacious cabin and cook up a feast in the fully equipped kitchen or cook and dine al fresco with the barbie! The large picnic area is complete with cosy fire pit for those chilly nights. Please note, we require minimum two nights stays for the cabin option if booking over a weekend. If you do not need use of the cabin, and have your own camp toilet, look at booking our self-contained paddock sites - whilst they don't have the ocean views, they're just as beautiful, and peaceful! We're very animal friendly! Pets are allowed so long as they don't hassle other campers. Get away with the family or get some friends together for a great escape just over an hour from Melbourne. Only 5 minutes from the picturesque coastal town of Kilcunda and 10 mins from fantastic Phillip Island. During the week, one-night stays are ok. We're very animal friendly! You're welcome to bring your dog, with 2 large paddocks available and 10 acres to roam. 2 Large kennels are available should you need them. Hang out in the spacious cabin and cook up a feast in the fully equipped kitchen or cook and dine al fresco with the barbie! The large picnic area is complete with cosy fire pit for those chilly nights. Getaway with the family or get some friends together(4 people min, 15 people max.) for a great escape just over an hour from Melbourne. Only 5 minutes from the picturesque coastal town of Kilcunda and 10 mins from fantastic Phillip Island. We had a great time camping at Tara Valley! Leanne has a beautiful property, plus she was very friendly and helpful. The directions were clear and the amenities at the cabin were very handy. The view out the windows from the kitchen is amazing, I'd recommend a scenic cook-up during a few nights stay at the property any day of the week!

Great location, great host!
Loved staying here! Full kitchen, lounge room, bathroom cabin to use. Lovely to sit out front with the fire going. Great location, great host! Thanks for having me 😁 looks perfect for groups and lots of space if you're solo or a couple!

Awesome camping with convenience
We loved visiting Leanne's land, it was such beautiful surroundings and the kids loved the horses and chickens. Leanne was amazing, she was so welcoming and friendly Was great to have the shed with the kitchen and bathroom too!

It was a nice cosy setup with a great view, the cabin facilities allowed us to access creature comforts which we would not normally have the use of for a camping trip.

Picture perfect weekend!
We had an amazing long weekend at Leanne’s place for our Mum’s 60th with friends and family. Great location with stunning views. The amenities in the cabin were so convenient, especially for entertaining a large group. Loved patting the horses. Leanne was an awesome host, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We loved that we could bring our dogs along to enjoy the weekend with us too!
