Our campsites are on scenic, levelled areas overlooking the large dam and bushland, with grassed areas ideal for tents and camper-vans, and portaloos a short walk away. The block is a natural timber and grassland block, with devils, quolls and wombats also residing here. We have several powered site available, and multiple unpowered sites
There is a lovely walking track around the dams periphery. view fish from the edge, spot platypus frolicking about, and keep your eye out for Peacocks wedge tail eagles or sea eagles wandering the property too. Whilst you are welcome to bring your dog with you, please ensure they don't harass the wildlife.

The cabin itself has a cosy wood stove heater, and is furnished with a double bed with pillows and a queen-sized doona. There is an undercover outdoor small kitchen with a 2 burner gas stovetop, basic kitchenware (with hand-held coffee grinder and aeropress), sink, solar lighting and rechargeable camping lanterns.
The toilet is a private eco-throne with a view to Bare Rock. It is composting and only a short walk from the cabin.
We provide you with wood for the indoor wood stove, an esky, bed linen, towels, tea-towels, basic kitchenware, cooking basics and toilet paper.
The kitchen sink and bath water comes from a spring fed dam, perfect for washing your dishes and bathing in. Please bring your own fresh drinking water.
Please note this is rustic accommodation, the cabin doesn’t have 240v, only a solar powered charging port with USB-A/C inputs to recharge the camping lanterns and your devices. You may wish to bring head torches for night time reading and card games!
There is no wifi available but there is strong mobile phone service.
Fingal is fondly known by the locals as "the Valley", and hosts several coffee and food vans for travellers passing through. Fingal is located just 15 mins to local township St Marys, where you'll find IGA Supermarkets and the popular pub/restaurant St Marys Hotel. Also the gold-prospecting rivers of Mathinna and Mangana are both short drives away.

The property has good access for all vehicles and there are plenty of flat sites for camping at the top of the property. Some minor leveling may be required in parts for RVs and Caravans. Plenty of space though to find your own peaceful, private patch. And you're welcome to bring your dog along too!
Please note: some front wheel drive motorhomes have encountered difficulty getting up the driveway. If you have rented a Fiat Motorhome you wont be able to get to the campground
We have one toilet available for shared use, self contained campers are encouraged to use their own facilities where possible.

As the site is teeming with wildlife including the barred bandicoot, we don't allow dogs.
There are NO FACILITIES on the block so campers must have their own toilet. This is VERY important to note before you make a booking!
There are good meals at the nearby Lufra Hotel and excellent coffee just up the road at the legendary Cubed Coffee van.
We only make provision for two campsites so you'll never be crowded.

Note there are no toilet facilities here - you will need to take everything you bring with you! Note there is a toilet dump point at Alonnah, a short drive south of The Neck.
A short walk along a path through the trees will have you standing on the iconic Neck ocean beach. This 11.5 kilometres of pristine sand and ocean offers surfing, swimming and fishing. The beach is also home to the island's Fairy Penguins who return to their burrows in the sand dunes at dusk. The best viewing period is during the warmer months of September to February.
Bruny Island Cheese, Get Shucked Oysters, Bruny Island Honey are a ten-minute drive north.
Adventure Bay with its Bowls Club, General Store and Service Station and coffee shop are a 15-minute drive south.
Penicott Wilderness Journeys and Fish Bruny Island private charters are also located at Adventure Bay.
15 minutes drive to the south west is Alonnah, where you'll find the brilliant Bruny Island Hotel - a pub with the best food, service and amazing sunset view over the Channel and Satellite Island. Alonnah is also home to the local Police Station, Pharmacy, Cricket Club, two great coffee shop options, and a skate bowl for the concrete shredders.
NOTE: your GPS is likely to send you several hundred metres south of the actual property entrance. Look for the small red Australian flag on the side of the road, indicating the location of the entrance. If you arrive at an old weatherboard cottage - you are at the right property, but the incorrect entrance to the campground.

Access height has been raised to 3.7meters. Pine Ridge has been developed over the years to be a natural park land with a good variety of local vegetation including stands of mature trees. lower scrub has been removed for physical and viewing access and to keep the property more secure and manageable. The vegetation also provides significant protection on windy days compared to many other open places. Native animals and birdlife abound the location. There is a community pergola area beside the substantial water hole which has a small jetty allowing easy access for swimming. There is also a stone barbecue and fire pit area available on suitable weather conditions.
There are ocean views from the property's main road areas, which also provide a large area of flatish firm ground with large areas providing easy maneuverability and turning.
The property is 2-3km from the main highway turn off that leads to the Douglas Apsley National Park. The corner of the property is only 50 meters from the park edge, with the Parks main access several km further along Rosedale Rd. The turn off is only 2 km from the town edge. It is sealed road except for the last 100meters and in good condition.
FIRES. Ok unless a fire ban. GOOD BAGS OF WOOD ON SITE FOR $20. NO OUTSIDE WOOD CAN BE BROUGHT ONTO THE PROPERTY AND BURNT. I HAVE TRIED TO MAKE A MIDDLE GROUND ON THIS ISSUE BUT UNFORTUNATELY SOME HAVE ABUSED THE FAIR RULES SO THIS IS NOW THE SITUATION.
NO FORAGING GROUND WOOD WITHOUT ASKING ME AND GETTING APPROVAL.

Stooge Farm is a safe and secluded place away from the hustle and bustle of the mad modern world. As well as camping, it is also available to rent for a variety of purposes; as the ultimate fishing retreat, for wedding, birthday and other significant life events, as a yoga, meditation and lifestyle retreat, or simply the ultimate holiday destination. This is such a special place that you really need to come and experience it for yourself to believe it. We await your visit.
*Some important notes before you book:
- Campers must have their own toilet and must remove all waste and rubbish. Dogs are welcome but must be leashed at all time.
- River water is available but drink at own risk.
- We recommend a strong vehicle, and a 4WD when towing caravans as the road in is steep.

The Little Garden Farm is a small farm with a private and exclusive Campsite - The Woodlander. The Little Garden Farm is a 100-acre forest and pasture farm that we began improving in 2023. The property is located at the base of Bruny's Isthmus, enjoying cool sea breezes in summer and mild temperatures in winter.
The Woodlander Campsite is set in our bottom forest paddock, next to a dam, with a seasonal winter creek. It is private and peaceful, with no other campers, houses, or nearby neighbours. We welcome travellers, with up to two vehicles, who are here to enjoy the peace and quiet (no parties please).
The campsite has its own separate access, site toilet, solid picnic table and chairs, firepit and and is approximately 600 meters from where we live. Next to 70 acres of forest the location is great for birdlife, with many of Tassie's endemics around, and other wildlife abundant after dark. We are always happy to help with birding or wildlife tips!
Based approx 5 minutes from Alonnah and 10 minutes from Adventure Bay, the "Woodlander" is central to so much of what Bruny Island has to offer.

There is also an undercover deck/hangout area, a shower block with 5 hot showers, and a wood-fired cedar barrel hot tub (refer to the extras section for hot tub use!).
There are walking tracks throughout the property, including a track that leads directly to the beach (15 min walk) and another to our on-site fresh water creek for plunging in!
We are surrounded by native wildlife and the property blooms with native Kunzea bushes, wattles, native cherries and various varieties of eucalyptus.
There is a beautiful large fresh water river and waterhole just down the road (15 minute walk, or 2 minute drive), and aside from the surf beach down the front, we are also only a 10-15 minute drive from a bunch of other beautiful and popular surf beaches on the east coast. The whole area is great for fishing, boating, surfing, bike riding, walking and short hikes.
We are a 10 minute drive from Falmouth, a 25 minute drive from the St Helens mountain bike trails, a 30 minute drive from Bicheno and Douglas Apsley National Park, a 45 minute drive from the infamous Bay of Fires and an hours drive from the Freycinet National Park.
We only open up 5 sites at a time, to ensure everyone has plenty of space and a beautiful experience on the land.

Our group enjoyed camping at Inglis River Caravan and Camping sites. This was our second stay and love that it is quiet with a large camping area and nice designated firepits. We originally chose this site as we can bring our dogs with us for the weekend as well. Kids loved the play area and exploring the fairy garden!

We had a fantastic stay here. The campground is beautiful, well maintained, and clearly very well cared for. It’s so lovely and peaceful.
The location is excellent—just a short drive from Richmond, which is a lovely historic town to wander around. There are plenty of things to see and do in the area, making it a great base for exploring. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing camping getaway.

What a wonderful place to stay! It was the highlight of Tasmania for us. So peaceful and beautiful. Proximity to Cradle Mountain National Park made it a perfect location to access the park and all activities there. In a couple of days our family also caught many, many trout on Scott's place. Looking forward to seeing all the amentity improvements that Scott has on the go, it can only get better!

We loved our 3 nights at Prosser Ridge! We arrived well after dark, that can be tricky when visiting a new location, particularly, not knowing the area and having to manoeuvre a caravan in the dark. Communication was great! our directions to find the property and where to camp were easy to follow. This was our first time here. We were surprised with a beautiful vista in the morning overlooking the valley on both sides. Only a few minutes to the township of Richmond. Spacious camping areas. Well fenced - no wallaby and possum 💩 to tread in. Firewood available for purchase. TIP: We were towing an 18ft caravan, we used 4WD entering and exiting the property.

Great location for camping! Trent was really friendly and he and his dog met us at the gate to show us which was the best spot. We were next to a little flowing creek. Communal toilet was good, clean and protected from the elements. Would definitely recommend this spot!

Ladybug Campground is a wonderful quaint property, perfect to get back to basics and enjoy nature. Small touches available such as firewood for purchase, hand cart/trolley and cooking basics including washing up liquid and paper towel (Campsite #3) makes your trip easier to manage. Peter and Kim are very accommodating and lovely to communicate with.

Scenic spot with private access to Connellys Marsh Beach. Some sheltered spots to get out of the wind or open spaces for beautiful water views. Good pull off area in front of driveway gate for longer rigs. Definitely worth a stay.

We had a great time at Pine Ridge. Tim was an attentive, and thoughtful host. Open spaces, a cute dam with an island in the middle. A great hideout for young pirates to explore. Only 3 campers at one time so very private. Highly recommend.

Excellent area to camp. So peaceful. Richard met us on the way in and was very friendly. All camp areas clearly marked, so no problems finding our spot. We stayed at the beginning of winter, so only one’s there. Fire pits are there. Couple of eagles flying around each day. Will definitely go back again when the weather is warmer.
