Set up your camp beside beautiful Tinana Creek, this large freshwater creek is perfect for fishing and all your favourite water activities. It is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the abundance of wildlife that visits the property. The property is situated only 10 minutes drive from Maryborough, making it easy to explore this historic town. Guests are required to be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Site 1 is better suited for tent campers. The site is a turfed section containing picnic table and small shelter shed, fire ring and access to boat ramp. Site 2 is suitable for tents or self contained caravans and RVs, and is situated right on the water. Pets are welcome but please keep them restrained whilst on the property.

We love staying at Shady rest! This was our 2nd time staying here. Wendy and Owen are so welcoming. Such a beautiful place. The kids had a ball.

Perfect spot for a quiet relaxing weekend with our two border collies. Grassed area with close access to the waters edge. Suitable to small camper and 4 WD access.

This is our second visit to Creekside @ Wrights On The River, and once again we have only great things to say. Owen and Wendy are fantastic hosts & this location is gorgeous. The spot is quiet and feels isolated even though the property is relatively close to Maryborough, the river makes for all-day entertainment, and the pergola is an awesome addition (giving you some shelter and a table before you've had a chance to unpack). Thumbs up recommendation! We will be returning for another visit

Campsite 1
Owen and Wendy were lovely, helpful hosts. The campsite 1 where we stayed was idyllic and exactly what we’d hoped! We really enjoyed the native birdlife, waterfront camping and a nice warm fire! If you love nature, don’t need the modern conveniences and want to escape on your own - this is for you! We loved it and will be back!

Beautiful spot
Beautiful spot on site 1 creekside. Perfect to kayak and just relax. Plenty of room for our camper and 6x3 gazebo. Hubby caught a couple of good sized bass and a few catfish. The river is full of life, birdwatchers paradise. Perfect spot if you are fully self contained.
