Close to everything! 5 acre property, 30 mins from airport, 5 mins to Cleveland and Stradbroke ferry, 15 mins to Sleeman Aquatic Centre and Belmont Shooting Complex. Easy access to public transport - 200m to bus stop, 3km to train station Only one site has bathroom access, Hillhead. One acre dog enclosure available for friendly dogs. Large grassed areas among gum trees, set high so there are sea breezes in summer. Lots of birdlife, with kookaburras, galahs, curlews, cockatoos and lorikeets nesting on site, you will meet our friendly magpie and butcherbirds too. We are in a koala zone and occasionally get visitors during breeding season, and there's been a few wallaby sightings recently. We have a small hobby farm with chickens and ducks. We also have a goat, native bees, a worm farm and an aquaponics system Plenty of local activities and events. Too many to list! Beaches, bush and city stuff too The closest activity is the mini-golf at Alexandra Hills Hotel and Conference Centre. Its also very handy for breakfast, lunch or dinner if you don't feel like cooking. Family friendly and reasonably priced for the area. There is a playground for kids and a bottle shop. Defibrillator on property. Fire extinguishers on site. Farm Fresh Eggs Available...... Emergency Department 4.5 km away at Redlands Hospital.

Easy access and large grassed area for van. Good pub next door - no noise from there 👍 - and we had a great meal the night we were there. Lots of green space to enjoy and hosts are friendly and unobtrusive. Quite place even though it is in suburbia. Perfect spot when we need a night or two near Brisbane. We would stay again.

Top Spot
Very nice camping / Van spot close to Brisbane and the coast . Paula and husband Neal were lovely folk . Very proud of their place and rightly so ! Very warm experience. Also a get eating place and watering hole just down the road .

Paula is a great host. She gave us good directions to the property and some good places to visit during our stay. The location is excellent. Perfect Hipcamp if want to explore around the local area or to use as overnighter if heading out to Straddie or Morton islands.

Was a beautiful property, close to restaurants, ferry's and very easy to find. Paula and her husband were exceptional hosts, very welcoming and took us through a tour of their gardens as well as extensive knowledge of the local area. Just wish we could of stayed longer!
