We have a beautiful 600 acre cattle property with plenty of room to spread out where other campers are nowhere in sight.  Here you will find that the serenity meets the bush. We have beautiful flat grassy sites situated on Gootchie Creek, and around our very large spring fed billabongs that never dry up. Come and enjoy the green flat grassy sites along the creek, you may even see the resident platypus. Enjoy some wildlife watching and escape from the city. Bring your hammock and gaze at cloud shapes. Camp fires permitted and bring along your pet too. We are located 45kms north of Gympie. In town you will find all the shops, fuel and supplies for your camping trip. A dump point has now been installed on our property for your convenience.Gootchie Creek Escape .... where serenity and the bush meet. We are a 600 acre property located 45kms north of Gympie.  We have beautiful flat grassy sites situated on the Gootchie Creek and around our very large spring fed Billabongs that never dry up.  Come and enjoy some wildlife watching and escape from the city. Gootchie Creek Escape
Beautiful Spot!
We really enjoyed our stay at Gootchie Creek Escape. We spent 2 nights over the Anzac Day long weekend and found the property easy to find, a short drive from the Bruce Highway turnoff. There is lots of space to spread out and the camp sites are flat shady grassed areas that could accommodate all types of vehicles. The billabongs are really pretty and great for kids. We camped down near the river and it was peaceful and relaxing. We will definitely visit again.

Gootchie Creek Escape
A great spot for a getaway!
It's a large peaceful space, which is well maintained. With 600 acres, there's plenty of space for camping, including groups. The amenities where clean and always available over a recent busy 3 night stay. Lots of grass and shady areas by the many ponds or creek. I'd be happy to come stay again.

Stunning Property
What a beautiful property. Very picturesque. What more could you want?…a billabong, flowing river, beautiful cows, toilets and showers. For those with 4 legged fur babies, yes they are welcome too! Nikki is a lovely host, we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights here, and we will be back! Thanks again Nikki!!
