Wonderful camping at Woodgate
What a great site. We had an unpowered site, but there are powered sites as well. Facilities included hot showers and flushing toilets, rubbish bins and fire drums all for no extra charge. Short drive to Woodgate Beach or a short walk to fishing spots. Exceptionally clean and tidy.

The unpowered campsites are very generously spaced which was great, no noise from other campsites and the shower/toilet was neat and clean. There were a huge amount of mosquitoes but we managed that ok. For a camp on the river it’s a pity it doesn’t have views of the water or better accessibility.

Amazing spot with an helpful host, been my regular spot for a few years. Close to anything and everything for your daily activities, such as the boat ramp for boating or kayaking, and close to the beach entry for some beach driving. HIGHLY RECOMMEND (Always pack and prepare for the miggies and mozzies during the hotter seasons)
