Enjoy the park setting along Beelbi Creek with your very own boat ramp and pontoon to use, so you can experience the water activities at your doorstep. The saltwater creek creek leads to the Coral Sea. The campsite offers large shade areas, fire pits and a large communal fire pit area for all to enjoy. We have a two seater kayak and stand-up paddle boards available for use. Guests are required to be fully self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Pets are allowed but must be kept on a leash at all times and cleaned up after. Please check with your host first if you would like to bring your pet with you. Toogoom Mountain bike riding tracks are a 5 minute ride away. Lots of native birds and animals. Hervey Bay, Toogoom, Burrum Heads, Howard, Maryborough and Childers only a short drive away. It is an extremely quiet area with lots of open space for your enjoyment.

Great spot
Great spot we will definitely be back. Beautiful big area and got to enjoy stargazing next to the fire. Shane was perfect and we enjoyed mountain biking and golf nearby.

Site 18 - Beelbi Creek Stop & Stay
We really enjoyed our stay at Beelbi Creek Stop and Stay. We were the only people there for three days, so had plenty of room but even if there were others, there is plenty of space. The whole area is kept tidy and mowed. There was a pile of fire wood and fire pits for all to use. It was great to know Shane the owner was on site all the time. This made us feel our camp was secure when out site seeing.

Very peaceful, great host
Great spacious campground, close to Hervey Bay & surrounds, wood provided for campfires, fire fireflies & lots of birdsong. Host Shane was so friendly & welcoming. We loved our stay & will be back 😃

Absolute gem camping spot
Shane is an absolute gem, he was very accommodating despite our late arrival. He even provided us some wood for the fire. The site is stunning with ample space too. The fireflies put on a show for us. Free access to the jetty for fishing. There's a spot in the dam where you can swim too! Would definitely stay here again.

Site 10 - Beelbi Creek Stop & Stay
Flat, open, green...and fireflies! Shane's place is gorgeous, ample shaded spots, or open spots if you need solar. It's 15 minutes into Hervey Bay, or 30 into Maryborough. Shane is lovely and full of tips for things to do in the area - we did the walking tour in Maryborough and loved it! He recommended going down to the pontoon area at dusk to see the fireflies but we didn't need to at they were near where we were camped. Magical! We had mobile reception (Telstra) and thoroughly enjoyed our 4 days here.

Great camping spot , nice flat area to setup your camper , camping ground is well maintained , fire wood available if your what a fire ,easy access to the campground, 2 or 4 wheels drives , 15 minutes to the beach , highly recommended .
