Wattle Valley Farm lies is a 100 acre property, bounded by the iconic Wollombi Brook, which many native wildlife call home.  During your stay, you might even come across some of our friendly native residents like wombats, kangaroos, echidnas, goannas, kookaburras and black cockatoos. We also have a number of short walks you are welcome to take if you want to explore the property while you are here, including local Aboriginal cave art and our beautiful scenic river walk. Wattle Valley Farm is located in the heart of the Wollombi Valley and the Hunter Valley wine region, making it an ideal base while you explore everything the region has to offer.  The historic village of Wollombi is only five minutes up the road, and has a lively cafe scene, unique experiences and the famous Wollombi Tavern. Meanwhile, the popular Broke and Pokolbin wine regions are a short 30-40 minute drive along the beautiful, meandering country roads.

Camp at Wattle Valley Farm Wollombi
Lovely spot
We had a wonderful experience at Wattle Valley. Our host was knowledgeable, generous and very helpful. Our campsite was private, in the bush with a fire pit and a short walk from the creek. We enjoyed a short kayak on the creek which was peaceful. Toilets and showers are basic. Avoid nights were there is a wedding scheduled next door, if possible. On Saturday night, there was a very loud DJ until 11pm. It felt like we were in a dance club. The other nights were lovely and peaceful. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great spot for families, everyone is spread out and you have lots of privacy. Easy couple of walks on the property and access to the river

Genuine 7/10
We really enjoyed the two nights we stayed there. Matt was really friendly and exactly what you need when camping. And I hesitate to liken a person to toilets, but the facilities were also excellent. Multiple toilets (for men and women), good quality paper, and showers if needed. Those two reasons alone I would go back. We had a small section in the back which suited us well, but there were also large open fields for bigger groups with lots of kids. A good variety!

Amazing camping experience
Really lovely place, bathrooms and showers are nice and clean and the hosts were kind. Option to camp in the bush or an open area and individual pit fires for every campsite.
