I loved the views from my site. There was always help or advice from Darcee and Owen, the caretaker, if needed. Nice and peaceful and will be different returning..

Middle Ridge
Absolutely Breathtaking 🥰
The land was amazing, the views were breathtaking and the amenities were incredible clean and welcoming. Cannot recommend enough. Hoping to stay again one day soon!

Powered Site 3
What a beautiful spot. The amenities were excellent and the site was incredibly beautiful. Had a large grassy site overlooking the dam with the friendly cows chatting in the next paddock.

Middle Ridge
10/10 - an awesome place!
This place is a 10/10… and I don’t say that lightly! We stayed on Middle Ridge with our 19’6” caravan and could park on enough of a flat that we had panoramic views of the hills. Fee thought the powered sites looked like they were a bit close, but the camping along the dam looked quiet and private. Ridge 1 and Ridge 2 are very close to one another so possibly best booked if you’re in the group. Ammenities are not a far walk from any of the sites, we had facilities with us, but checked them out and they were great. The dam is totally swimmable. Scenery is STUNNING. Hosts lovely and allow you to have privacy. We day tripped to Nambucca Heads, it was awesome. Headed to Bucket Brewery in Kempsey, also great. Not much happening in Bowraville or Macksville but they’re nice places to walk around. This hip camp is a greater kick off point to explore the Nambucca Valley and Coffs Coast. Enjoy!

Lake View
Excellent signage for easy access to camp site.
Lake view site was level and easy to park our camper trailer. Nice grassy camping area with fire pit. Lots of bird life around the lake. Easy walk to the amenities. Would highly recommend this hipcamp.

My favourite spot
This is such an incredible place. I would say probably my favourite hipcamp that I have stayed at.
The view was amazing, so much privacy too.
I ended up extending my stay.
I will be back without any hesitation.
