The River Orchard is a majestic 165 acres property nestled between the Oxley River and Mt Warning. The working macadamia farm boasts five campsites each positioned in different nooks with only one group booked in per campsite. Pets and campfires welcome. Hot water shower and compost toilet cleaned several times a day. The Flats Site - The Flats is an extra large site closest to the Oxley River enjoying direct water access with two levels. The first is sheltered by an overhanging sour cherry tree and overlooks the bottom plateau and swimming spot. This site is a short three minute walk to the shower shed. Riverview Site - Riverview is perched on the raised riverbank looking down upon the swimming spot and rapids. A sprawling old tree shelters this extra spacious campsite ideal for large groups. We recommend Riverview for guests with younger children as it does not have direct river access and is the closest to the shower shed. Orchard View - Situated next to the Riverview campsite, this location is close to the river with stunning views across the macadamia orchard. The Grove - The Grove is one of our cosiest sites framed by a towering tree complete with stag horns, with branches that sprawl out over the campsite offering an abundance of shade. Close to the shower shed & a short walk to the river. The Pine Hideaway - This is our most private and stunning site. It looks out over the lotus flower filled dam to mountain panoramas and a secluded island. We look forward to welcoming you.

Camping with 2 Dogs
We loved our camping trip Michelle's piece of paradise and are really pleased that she chooses to share this beautiful place. We had 2 dogs that had an absloute blast and we all will be returning as soon as we can!!!

Will never tire of this place. My favourite getaway, for peace and quiet. For some reason the rain likes to follow me to The River Orchard, but just makes it all the more relaxing.

Orchard View
Loved our time camping at Orchard View campsite. Beautiful river to swim and paddle in. Amenities were kept clean with a nice hot shower. Michelle was lovely and was nice having the horses come visit, even though one was very naughty. He gave us a good laugh though. Nice relaxing stay.

Riverview Site
Fun few days!
Michelle’s site was beautiful, the scenery, the animals, it was the perfect spot for the kids and animals with the rapids in the lake. Couldn’t fault it. Michelle was lovely and we will Definitely be back! Thanks for having us

Orchard View
Really enjoyed our stay at Michelle's place. The GPS was a bit confusing to get there but once we got to the right entrance to the property Michelle's partner greeted us and drove us right to the site so there was no more confusion! Also really lovely that Michelle popped down later after she got home from work to see we were settled ok. There was a heap of rain prior to our stay and on and off throughout so we didn't really get to enjoy the creek but I'm sure normally it would be stunning. We enjoyed the quiet space, with the odd visit from the horses roaming the property and serene orchard views. The shower block was excellent - great hot water supply. So nice to be able to light a fire in the evenings and relax to the sound of the creek and view of the stars. Would stay again, and perhaps then we will be luckier with the weather and get to swim in the creek!
