Thank You for the privacy, flexibility, water access and toilets. It was everything we were looking for in a outdoor camping trip.

I love the camping ground and the space that Phil had the river was cold but very clean. The kids love exploring around the river. We loved taking our dog and he enjoyed his time next to the river. The fires were great every night only challenge for us with the two wheel drive was getting out on a steep rise and dry road however we got out okay. If showers were added, it would make life a little easier but because our stay was quite short it’s still worked out quite well.

Jila Camp Grounds
We stayed on a very busy long weekend but still there was lots of space and we found a great spot to set up. The river is stunning and great for a paddle. Flow was low so very safe. We had fun with the kyaks and paddle boards. Toilets were very clean. Sink and water for washing up made life even easier. Plenty of shady sites if you went in summer. Definitely would camp here again.

So close to Sydney, so peaceful!
What a lovely spot in the heart of Sydney. Well laid out, toilets and rubbish bins and on the banks of the river. Had a lovely peaceful feel with all other campers being great to be around. We were a little surprised by the steep access road, which is dusty and we’re grateful a camper with a 4 wheel drive towed by our little vintage van up, as our Front wheel sedan didn’t have enough traction something to be aware of, but we will definitely come back with our 4WD! Great stay, thank you

Jila Camp Grounds
Wonderful location and great facilities. Very easy to find. Flexibility to setup anywhere was nice. Only disappointment was a couple of noisy groups, one with music til after midnight. We might have been unlucky though, as other campers told us that they didn't hear any noise, even after staying 3 nights over Anzac Day.
