Poppys Paddock
Matgaret’s estate was amazing, loved the private space her partner gave us right next to two beautiful horses. The sunrise from there was just amazing. The only downside was that the amenities were not clean, maybe because it was a public holiday and there sites were pretty much booked. Other than that everything was perfect.

We loved our stay at Poppy’s Dam. Had prebooked for one night of our road trip during the school holidays. Don’t want to move on. Was our favourite stop of the trip. Will definitely go back.

Beautiful camp grounds and some very wholesome activities for the kids. We really enjoyed camping at Poppy's Dam and visiting the farm animals.

Best camping experience with kids!
We camped for three nights with three young kids and can say it was the best camping experience we’ve ever had. The property is stunning!! Lenny made us feel like family and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The horse riding was brilliant, the horses were calm and were perfect for first time riders. This will be a camping trip the kids will never forget!
Horse riding, emu dance parties, spectacular views and cattle feeding are just a few highlights. Couldn’t fault it. Thank you Lenny and Margaret :)

Camping with farm animals!
Our first family camping trip and it was great fun. Great activities for the kids, the farm animals around were very friendly, owner/manager on site were super lovely, and the location was great!
Our camp spot unfortunately had some bull ant colonies around, which meant a couple of us and dogs were bit and we were also a bit of a walk away from the two bathrooms, but the spots closer to the amenities looked a lot better!
