Welcome to Aloomba Lavender Farm. We offer bush camping with powered and unpowered sites. This means you will not be placed very close to other vans unless you are friends and choose to be together. In many cases you will be able to choose where you wish to park. Not all sites are level, but you are able to site your camp/ van as you wish. There are no cement pads. There is access to toilets and hot showers. You may have to walk some distance to the amenities but the solitude, the quiet, safety and stars make all worthwhile. There is a dedicated firepit and firewood is supplied. We can supply no water other than sufficient to cook dinner. You are welcome to use some of the vegetables and herbs but not to strip the vegetable garden! If in doubt - ask. We have great coffee and Devonshire teas but we are not a cafe. However there is a great little lavender shop where you can buy our own lavender essential oil, or a cake of soap or a Baggallini Handbag. We are dog friendly! We welcome well behaved dogs. We are 20 km from Stanthorpe. You may see wildlife or cattle through the fence and an occasional vehicle going down the road. We have a sealed road all the way to our boundary and then drive through the lavender. If you visit in late November through to early December you will enjoy our lavender flowering, but the plants look very pretty all year around in neat rows. We are a commercial farm so there is the need to work to the rhythm of the lavender.

Lavender and Cattle (unpowered)
Novel campsite with lovely views
Was quite a novelty to stay on a lavender farm - although in the off season it feels much more like a normal farm. Level areas to park or pitch, although the grass can get soft around the edges of the camping area so be cautious if it's wet. Shower & Toilet amenities were a little walk from the campground area, but were clean and private booth-style. The cafe and shop were lovely as were the ladies we met while we stayed. We had a pleasant stopover on our journey north to Stanthorpe.

Lavender and Cattle (powered)
Had a wonderful time here. So peaceful! Campsites were flat with plenty of spots to hook up to power. They had fire pits and wood available. Bathrooms were very clean. Definitely recommend!

Lavender and Cattle (powered)
I’d go again ☺️
We enjoyed camping at the lavender farm. We had a powered site. The grass was green and plentiful, lavender bushes were starting to bloom and smelt wonderful. The host advises fire pit and wood supplied. There are only a number of fire pits though and the wood was in a big pile for everyone to grab what they like. By the time we got there, there were only large pieces left. We had an axe so wasn’t too hard however would recommend bringing your own kindling, axe and fire pit to avoid disappointment. Staff at the lavender shop were lovely and chatty. Toilet and shower facilities were very clean, tidy and well stocked. The dogs also had a great time!
