Friendly hosts and a nice location! My friend's son tried the outdoor shower and he said it was "life changing!" Which means the water was nice and hot after a day spent outdoors. They also have a regular bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. If there's a line up to use it, there are places to sit and if you're lucky, the camp cat, Ginger may come by and keep you company!

The camp was extremely convenient for our backpacking trip to the South Olympic Coast section. The sites were very private and had plenty of space. There aren’t that many sites so it didn’t feel crowded at all. The only drawback was the road noise from the nearby highway. It was busier than I expected.
Great site! Dale was a great host and really helped us with our first RV adventure! He made sure our hookups were correct and helped us when we had trouble with a leaky water connection. The sites were nice and private. You don’t reserve a specific site, which is good and bad. The first night we came in a little later in the evening and that site sas less private and closer to the road, but people are coming in and out and Dale was ok with us staking out another site for the next two nights. Be sure to leave some things at your site if you want to keep it. We didn’t use the bathroom or shower, but did tent campers that’s nice to have and we heard from other campers it was nice. They don’t have an RV dump, but we went to Mora campground, which is less than an 10 min drive, and dumped for $10. We loved the convenience of the area, which was about a 15 min drive to the main area of Forks and about 10-15 minutes from the beaches in LaPush. Rialto Beach is closed right now, but would be convenient for there too. Also, a good spot to drive out and explore the rest of the park areas. Would definitely book again.

We really enjoyed our time and would definitely go back! Dale was very welcoming and kind. It’s a beautiful piece of land that drenches you in this amazing umbrella of trees. My favorite was the light flickering through.

Maybe we are just not hipcampers. We enjoy camps with privacy and pretty environments. This one looked so promising, but sadly, we got there about seven pm and had to take the site in the middle of the loop that should have been just trees (not a campsite).
The cars on the highway never stop overnight, even though we thought the traffic would die down. It was quiet otherwise, but you’re a few yards off a busy highway. Not what we thought when we booked.
Nice camp host and cute property though. Ok for one night. We had two to spend and I’m very happy we kept looking for night two.
This is about an hour and a half from the Makah reservation and Cape Flattery and we HIGHLY recommend this stop if you’re in the area. It’s divine. Just so beautiful.

Dale was very nice. Anxious to make our stay pleasant. Quiet and clean. Close to activities. Would stay there again.
My family had a great time camping at Dale’s. The two hot showers and one flushable toilet was a big plus. The sites are a little small for 3 tents but we made it work. When there was a misunderstanding about what we thought was our campsite, Dale was very kind, understanding and accommodating. The only thing I would suggest is that the portable toilets have servicing a little more frequently.
This was a very thoughtfully designed and relaxing camp. We really appreciated all the details, like the hot cedar shower and the charging station. Having the option of a bathroom with running water was very nice. Campsites felt private with lots of trees and bushes. The host was very kind and made us feel welcome. A great place, we would stay again!
We had a good stay at Dale’s campground. Dale was very helpful and even had a campfire ready for our late arrival and provided firewood for the stay, which we really appreciated.
The RV itself felt a bit older and more basic compared to others we’ve stayed in. The bathroom is shared with all the campsites, and there isn’t really a separate outdoor area for the RV beyond space for parking, and all this sits along a path through the campground.
Overall, a decent spot with a great host.

The host was super nice and welcoming! Tent sites had enough space between them to not feel too crowded. There was some road noise, but pretty quiet at night. Hot shower was so nice after salty ocean swims!

We had a wonderful stay at Shangri La Push and would highly recommend this wonderful camp. Dale is an amazing host and the sites are beautiful. It is centrally located to amazing adventures and offers peaceful reprieve.
When we arrived we were greeted immediately by Dale, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming. He asked about our plans and shared some great ideas for things to do nearby, which we really appreciated. The campsite itself was secluded and quiet — perfect spot to stay. The cedar shower was such a nice touch, and the main bathroom and shower were very clean. Overall, a beautiful, quaint campground that I’d highly recommend!

The sites and amenities are great! I come up frequently for work and it’s wonderful to have a hot shower after a day in the field. The road noise from La Push Rd tapers off after the sun goes down and picks when the sun comes up. Only a real issue if you hit the hay early or want to sleep in.

This was my 4th year staying at Shangry La Push Camp, and I keep coming back all the way from Vancouver because it's such an amazing place. The campground is peaceful, well maintained, and the location is perfect for exploring the beautiful Forks and La Push area.
A special thank you to Dale, the owner. He's an amazing guy—friendly, welcoming, and always makes sure everyone has a great experience. You can tell he really cares about the campground and his guests.
I highly recommend Shangry La Push Camp to anyone looking for a relaxing camping trip. I'll definitely be back again next year!

Dale was super welcoming and helpful with recommendations for area activities. We loved having the private bathroom/shower.
We had both a small tv and a tent. We loved the privacy that our site offered and the accessibility to La Push. It was about a 15 minute drive to Forks. The campground is in the midst of the forest and you will be surrounded by lush greenery. Also Dale the host is a retired shop teacher and has some pretty cool fences and woodwork around the property.
Great location with close proximity to several rivers, the coast and Olympic National Forest.
We had the most wonderful time camping at Dale’s campsite! From the moment we arrived, he greeted us and was so kind and welcoming and informative. We were able to pick a cozy campsite tucked in the beautiful forest, and there was even WiFi access around camp. The outdoor cedar shower was a godsend after days hiking and roaming the nearby beaches. Dale was so helpful and gave advice on the best beaches and routes to take to maximise our time on the peninsula. He checked in with us every time he saw us and we felt very well taken care of. The facilities were clean and well managed and truly the best campsite we could imagine. Perfectly located for access to the beaches and nearby hikes. We will definitely be back!

The camp host was friendly and welcoming. Check-in was easy. The sites were clean. The site we had unfortunately had road noise from cars driving by all night. The port-a-potty was serviced before 6 am, which woke our whole camp up. It would be better if the service could be scheduled outside of the quiet hours. I think for the price it would also be great if there was garbage service.
Dale is the friendliest most considerate and helpful host. The sites are huge Aunt. You can get a good amount of firewood for 10 bucks. Good bathroom and showers. Incredibly convenient location to La push first second third Beach

We had a lovely time camping here, the campsite is well taken care of with great amenities and so close to amazing places. Definitely a place we would come back to!
Dale and Wendy have done an amazing job. These tent spots are outstanding, we loved every minute. Outdoor shower is such a cool touch combined with an indoor restroom and several clean honey buckets. We are already planning our next trip!! We will see you soon

Great campsite! Very easy to find, we got there late at night and the check in was very easy. Quiet and peaceful, we slept great! Best part was the hot water shower, we were so relieved to finally have a real bathroom after many days of camping. Would definitely come back!
