River Run Farm Camping is situated on the banks of the beautiful Mary River within the spectacular Fraser Coast region. The historic Maryborough town centre and the quaint village of Tiaro is right on our doorstep for anything you may have left behind or if you just feel like a country pub meal and a cold beer. We offer large grassy mowed sites both powered and unpowered, river front and tree shaded areas with some unpowered sites having their own fire pits. Fully equipped large camp kitchen with microwave, television, fridge,fire place and BBQ's, large communal firepit great for camp ovens and power points to charge your devices and a Playground for the Kids. We offer the best hot showers with beautifully clean toilets; our amenities even contain a washing machine and a kid’s bathroom with a claw foot bath. A Dump point is located at the front of our property. River Run offers: farm animals, swimming, excellent fresh water Fishing (Bass, Barra, yellow belly, prawn and silver perch), boat ramp, bike track and kayaking on the river is spectacular. River run has an amazing variety of bird life due to the large body of fresh water and pristine habitat creating a great environment for spotting native animals including wallabies, echidna and platypus, which have been sighted at the boat ramp. We are pet friendly too as long as your animals remain on a leash and are under full supervision at all times. River Run is only a short drive away from lots of great experiences, Markets, Mural trail, horse riding, adventure activities, history, museums, Festivals, art and culture that are sure to inspire. Thursday is market day in Marybrough with live music, town tours, great food fruit and veggies. Book a horse riding adventure with Hucknall Horses only 10mins away or drive on up to Hervey Bay and go whale watching or day trip to the incredible Fraser Island or Rainbow Beach. 4wd in one of the many local forestry areas and see the brumby herds. There is so much to see and do on the Fraser Coast. Just so much to see and do.

Michelle, the host, was absolutely amazing and made everyone feel welcome from the start. The kids’ activities were fantastic—well-organized, Feeding the animals, and engaging. Our son had an incredible time, made new friends, and didn’t want to leave. It really made the whole camping experience even more special for our family.

My husband & I took our 2 sons (13 & 7) in our caravan here for 2 nights & absolutely loved it! We stayed on a site down in the gully, huge site, nice & grassed, lots of shade & it was so peaceful & relaxing. Camp sites aren’t close to others so you have lots of privacy. The amenities were very clean & the showers nice & warm. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & will definitely be back.

We had a great week at River Run Farm Stay with our daughter and her hubby bringing the 4 grandkids to join us for 4 days. The grandkids loved feeding the animals, the water slip & slide, the animal bingo and painted rock hunting activities which Michelle and her family organised. The playground was a big hit also. Thanks for the lovely chat we had also Michelle …. Our best wishes for your farm stay to keep getting a lot of visitors.

The Location is great, minimal construction which is good as you can enjoy nature .The facilities are tidy and I will definitely be a regular at the river front Camping .The only thing that I think will need to be addressed is the lack of privacy around showers .I feel that with kids around one may un intentionally or accidentally expose one’s self when stepping out of shower .It is an uncomfortable thought with kids running around and I feel like wise for the woman’s shower as well .please look into this as I am not the only person that has commented on that .Above all Great work in keeping the area clean so we can enjoy nature .Thank you .

We really enjoyed our week at River Run. We had a powered site and it was large and grassy, toilets and showers in the middle so not a far walk and kept very clean by the lovely Sue. Camp kitchen is large and well stocked with utensils and kettles/toasters etc plus lots of tables and chairs. Kids loved the playground and the games that the host put on. The slip n slide and animal feeding were also a huge hit as was fishing.

What a beautiful spot. So much space for the kids to ride bikes, play on the playground and swim in the river. We were happily surprised by how many activities were run by the camp for the kids. We also loved the size of the sites. Ample space for our two tents and a gazebo, car, brazier and space left. The amenities were also top tier and made our stay much easier. We were in powered site 8 and we think it was the best spot. A little bit of shade, plus nice and close to the amenities. Would recommend this hip camp for sure 👍🏼

We love coming to River Run. Its our second time now and the kids are already asking to come back next year. The amenities are always clean and well kept. The camp kitchen is amazing! The kids bath is absolutely brilliant and a favourite amongst all ages. They have camp activities now which are so fun for everyone. My daughter so desperately wanted to take home all the animals! Especially the baby chickens. Thank you Michelle for being a wonderful host yet again! See you next time!

A great campsite, lots of open space so you're not on top of each other and the toilets/amenities are the best we've had over 8 years of camping. We really loved it here. There were great activities on offer for the kids over the Easter weekend, and the staff were so friendly. The camp kitchen is an excellent facility, and the disco was a huge hit with our group of kids. The only downside to the site is the entry to the river - it's a very narrow entry point so gets extremely busy over peak periods, but it's also steep, and both muddy and rocky, so we either slid back down into the water or cut our feet trying to get out. Unavoidable due to the nature of the landscape (which is beautiful!), but it made it hard to get in and out easily, especially with really young campers. Overall, it's a great campsite for young families.

Great spot for families. Plenty of space to run around and play. Animals and nature kept the kids busy. Extra Easter activities were excellent (waterslide, disco, egg hunt and games). Clean amenities and great camp kitchen. Playground was a great asset.

Great place for a family vacation and take in some fresh air. Facilities are very well maintained. The showers are great and they have flushing toilets and up keeping is done with a cleaner. Shelly ( Michelle ) is so lovely. They have farm animals great for the kids and a time feeding the animals is in the afternoon. I stayed 3 night’s but booked another night I did not want to go home. Great playground as well for the kids and it’s next to the camp kitchen handy for mum and dad’s to Sit there relaxing and watch the kids play and make memories. Lots of bird life but it can also be very still and you hear nothing. So I reckon it’s a bloody great place and recommend trying it out.

Wow what a fantastic time away! Our three year old was exhausted by the amount of activities! Watersliding, bingo, swimming in the river, feeding the animals, a game of spotlight and toad hunting. Then on Easter, we decorated eggs and drawings, a fantastic hunt for eggs left by the Easter bunny, egg toss and spoon race all wrapped up with a really cool disco. Cannot thank the organisers enough for what was provided and we will definitely be returning next year with some friends!

Awesome camp spot down by the Mary River with great views and fishing spots! Peaceful and no crowds, just the way we like it. Open fires every night and hot showers offered with farm animal feeding for the kids! Highly recommended for a weekend away!

Highly recommended here at the River Run just outside of Tiro. What a great place to stay for short or longer stays. Toilets are always very clean and the showers are amazing. They have animal friendly feeding times every day and the manager Michelle will bring the animal feed to your camp area if she is unavailable for feed times. The camp kitchen is amazing just make sure you turn off appliances after use.. bring drinking water and of course your pet’s and enjoy the atmosphere around your campsite with birds singing and visiting you. Such a beautiful place to spend time alone enjoying nature. It’s only 10 minutes to Tiro if you need to stock up and try a pie from the grocery store there they are delicious lol. Friendly people.

We just spent the Easter long weekend at River Run Farm and honestly… we’re already planning our next trip back 😄 From the moment we arrived, it was clear this place is something special. The staff were absolutely incredible — friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything. It made such a difference and set the tone for the whole weekend. There was *so much* to do, especially for the kids (and let’s be real… the adults too 😂). The waterslides were a massive hit and kept everyone entertained. The animal feeding was such a sweet experience, and the Easter activities were a lovely touch that made the weekend feel extra magical. One of the highlights had to be the disco — such a fun vibe and a great way to wind down after a big day of activities. We headed down to the river for paddle boarding and kayaking was just perfect. Peaceful, scenic, and a great way to soak it all in. It’s one of those places that has the perfect mix of adventure and chill time. It was a beautiful, remote, relaxing spot. beautiful breeze and captivating star gazing. I would bring insects replant especially if near the water, there was all sorts of bites and itching when we first arrived. Showers are nice. very quiet when we went. only 3 other people were there. Would recommend for a family or a relaxing getaway but country side vibe.

10/10 very recommend! Stay there for one night on my way to the south, it is a beautiful farm stay. I was luckily only person there that day. The bathroom, kitchen all the public area is sooo clean and well maintained. And the I’ll cry for the pressure of the hot shower! Better than my own place ! I also met two pony horses and two donkeys, they are all so chill and friendly! Tho I drive my lil car there, the access is very rocky had to go extra slow

It was lovly and peaceful. Very clean showers and toilet and a lovely big camp kitchen . Could fit at least 50 people in there. Came in handy for fellow campers when rain got too much, we didnt need too,but they took advantage of it.

It was an amazing spot for our Caravan but there is also many other sites for all kinds of camping all just as great. The camp kitchen area was enormous with a well equiped kitchen, beyond expectations. Bathrooms were extremely clean and the showers had great water pressure. It was so quiet and peaceful the whole 4 nights we were there. The highlight of my stay was feeding the 2 Donkeys, 2 Miniature Horses and Horse carrots every afternoon.
