Camping in the shade on the river
Perfect spot with no neighbors
Quiet spot you have to yourself with access to the James river. So much space to set up a tent and the covered shelter was a plus! Only other people we saw were kayaking/tubing down the river.

Camping in the shade on the river
An absolute gem. Campsite sits right in front of the mountain ridge with beautiful fields around you. The river has a nice pebble beach with mountain tops on each side. The host is nothing but southern charm! He helped us find some bait around the river to use for fishing, which was perfect for hip level wading. Had a fire going for us when arrived and gave us some hike recommendations nearby. Would recommend!

Camping in the shade on the river
Terry was extremely helpful and a wonderful host! The property is very secluded and peaceful. Terry came by and checked on us due to the weather not being great which was above and beyond. I would definitely recommend this site to anyone trying to get away and relax. Will book again in the future.
Thanks Terry!
