First Family Camping Experience
Thank you Bekah for being so gracious letting us stay on your family’s property allowing us to give our kids their first ever camping experience. Your family’s uncommon hospitality was unforgettable as you welcomed us in. The land itself beautifully kept, a mix between old time farm charm, meadows and forested trails that surround the property. We were able to pitch our tent right next to our vehicle and conveniently close to the fire pit where we had our packed dinners and evening s’mores of course! The open fields were perfect for kicking the soccer ball around with our kids, blowing bubbles, and not having to worry about things like busy streets, overcrowded parks, or even sometimes noisy public camps (not hating on public camp sites, but it’s nice to have a quiet place to camp with young kids - especially their first time). Did I mention it was quiet? We did end up cutting our time short due to severe weather, but I told Bekah that our family would be back to make more outdoor adventures. So if you’re looking for a quiet place to unplug, connect with nature, and spend time with your family - this is the place. Thank you again Bekah for being so welcoming!! Delightful & welcoming hosts, beautiful atmosphere, both field and woodland spaces to explore nature and soak it all in. Lightning bugs were very active - that was a bonus I wasn’t anticipating! Convenient location to Chapel Hill- I plan to return next time I travel through the area! A++

You’ll want to extend your stay!
I wish I could’ve stayed longer! Bekah’s spot was so peaceful and beautiful. I had the cutest welcoming committee, as Bekah came out to greet me & my pup with her kiddos, their dog and a baby sheep. She gave me my pick of a number of different spots on their property where I could set up my van. Once I selected one, she left me to enjoy an evening amongst the trees & stars. I felt like I had all of the privacy, while also knowing she was a text away if I needed anything. There was a fire pit next to where I set up camp (though I didn’t use it). There were also entrances to 3.5 miles of trails through their property right where I parked, which again, given my small amount of time there, I didn’t get to explore, but I would love to come back and take in the full beauty of their space. As a solo female traveler, I felt extremely safe & welcomed. Cell service was pretty decent, even given the tree coverage and distance from the roads. It was the perfect and I hope to be back soon!

In the forest
I chose to stay a week in Bekah’s forest site. The pines swayed in a dance with the wind, their feet rooted together as a family. It was a nurturing experience!
Very private. Bekah was very welcoming from start to finish.

Quiet, relaxing, and memorable stay
We stayed at Bekah's property as our first HipCamp experience, and we were definitely not disappointed! We were their first Skoolie to stay on their property, and were greeted when we rolled up the driveway. We had an amazing view of the open field where we could sit under our awning to relax and enjoy the weather. There's many trails to walk around the property, and our dog loved being able to run around the fields and play with Bekah's dog! It was such a relaxing stay, and our hosts were very responsive to any and all questions we had. We will 100% be booking with them again in the near future.
