Cardinal River run

Best trip in 20 years

Slab rock

Beautiful, mostly to completely private spot right on the New River. Amazing river views and fishing if you choose. The host was helpful at check in and even gave me a tour of the 270 acres including long range mountain view, intro to the different animal residents and picking organic strawberries for breakfast. Would highly recommend and will be back!

Hawks Nest

Hidden River Experience was incredible. Awesome. Beautiful and everything it was set out to be. I was looking to get off grid for a weekend and it offered just that. Right by the river, I fished for two hours on Saturday and just soaked in the scenery and experience. It was so quiet you felt like you were in the middle of nowhere and while close to it, still close enough to town if you needed anything. John is an incredible host. He treated me like family and showed me around the farm. I had some farm fresh eggs and took a nice long hike on Saturday. Will definitely be back and will bring friends.

The Perfect Stay

Beautiful camp site on a huge private property. John and his wife were so welcoming and made sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We purchased firewood from John and he delivered it to our site, and even popped down in the evening to make sure we had enough for the rest of the night. 10/10 recommend for a secluded peaceful evening by the river!

Hawks Nest

This place is awesome, highly recommend! Spots are spaced out enough that you don’t see your neighbors and the river was so peaceful to fall asleep to. John went above and beyond to help us with ENO placement and even making the path to the river more accessible. Will definitely be coming back!
