As you enter the campsite, you'll be greeted by the neatly mowed plot, offering ample space for setting up tents, camping chairs, and a private fire pit. The well-maintained area ensures a comfortable and clean environment for campers to relax and enjoy their time in nature. The land is vast and super private. Each site has surrounding trees for privacy and a beautiful view of 40 Acres of land to explore. We offer an exclusive site that offers an off-grid experience while also being close to a bunch of activities such as hiking, swimming, boating, mountain biking, and more! We do NOT offer showers at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience. Here are some activities you can enjoy near us! All within a 20-mile radius from Basecamp! Wine Tasting: Explore the Finger Lakes region's renowned wineries, such as the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail or the Seneca Lake Wine Trail, and indulge in wine tastings and vineyard tours. Golfing: Tee off at one of the local golf courses, such as the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course at Cornell University or the Trumansburg Golf Course. Museums and Galleries: Visit the Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art at Cornell University or explore downtown Ithaca, which has various art galleries and museums showcasing local and contemporary artwork. Farmers Markets: Experience the vibrant local food scene by visiting farmers markets, such as the Ithaca Farmers Market, where you can find fresh produce, artisanal goods, and local crafts. Outdoor Adventures: Engage in outdoor activities like camping, bird-watching, or nature walks at places like the Finger Lakes National Forest or the Cayuga Nature Center. The site was very private, quiet, and clean! Fire pit was very cute, bathroom and garbage can were helpful. Driving to the site in our small/low car on the grass path was a little worrisome but even in the rain we made it through fine. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking to camp

We loved our stay at the Meadow! Really is a great getaway. So close to Ithaca, definitely hit up the Ithaca farmers market. The spot is secluded with the perfect amount of trees. Wild life was awesome, geese, deer, frogs. I wouldn’t totally rely on the firewood, we had to forage and cut quite a bit of our own and we also brought three bundles for one night. The hosts were very communicative and accommodating. We will definitely be back to the meadow😊

Great Campsite!
We had a great stay at Meadows. The hosts were very helpful providing directions and had the campsite all ready for us. The location is very secluded but still close to restaurants and breweries. It's a great location being only 20 minutes from Ithaca!

My visit to the Base Camp was blissful. My first word to come to mind. It was just what I was looking for. The layout was perfect. The host's were friendly, and helpful. After a brief hello with the host, I drove a short ways to the camp, and It was blissful solitude. I felt like I had everything I needed there. I hope I will make it back there soon.

Room to roam
Beautiful campsite that was just enough off the beaten path. Kids enjoyed running around the meadow and catching grasshoppers while our pup gave chase. Plenty or room for my family and inlaws to spread out. Peaceful at night with stars above and sounds of nature all around. Had a wonderful time watching the eclipse.
