95 acres on the beautiful Topisaw Creek. Here we've raised 5 kids and a multitude of dogs, cats and chickens and a small herd of pineywoods cattle. The woods are quiet and undisturbed , harboring native species like jack in the pulpit, trillium and Florida anise. The spring-fed (and thus always refreshing!) Topisaw Creek forms the eastern border of our property, so plan to spend time on the sandy beaches and rock bars soaking up the sun or hunting for rocks and fossils (petrified wood and arrowheads have been found here). Many folks also enjoy a leisurely float down the creek in inner tubes ('tubing') or in a kayak. (Please note that after heavy rains the creek rises to epic heights and is too dangerous to navigate.) Little to no light pollution makes for amazing stargazing!

Camp Topisaw Creekside Sandbar

Best spot, best hosts

This campsite is incredible! The creek is so refreshing and there is plenty of room, everything you need at this beautiful spot. We had car trouble and David went above and beyond to help us. We love Camp Topisaw!

Pasture Corner Site

Just wow!

How incredibly beautiful, peaceful and thought out it was. It's only 2 hrs from nola and it's perfect for those hot humid days, sitting on a shaded cool moving creek with cold water. Just wow! The host couple are incredibly unique and good people.

This property is a slice of heaven less than 2 hrs from nola! Wow was I impressed with the property, shaded trails, cool refreshing creek, and the incredible couple that won't it! Booked a second night!
