Animal Rescue Camping!
Iowa Oasis for People & Animals
Lazy J Rescue Ranch is wonderful!! It's small, remote, and best of all the hosts are incredible people. They were as kind to me as they are to their rescued animals. I basically sleep in my car and they gave me a nice little area near the walking trails they made on the property.

Animal Rescue Camping!
What an amazing experience! The property was lovely and felt very private, the hosts were kind and welcoming, and the animals stole the show. We had a fantastic time. It really felt like our own private getaway-- we'll definitely be back.

Super Friendly Hosts
We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay at the farm. I highly recommend buying animal treats to feed the local 4 legged residents and their farm fresh eggs were delicious!

Animal Rescue Camping!
Loved the Animal Rescue Farm!
So appreciative of the animal rescue farm HipCamp site! Woke up to a couple of huge pigs across the way, rooster crowing, and numerous other curious animals that wanted to meet me and Redz, my puppy. Thank you for booking my stay on super short notice and thank you to this HipCamp app and all the folks in our beautiful country who are willing to share their properties and lives with others so willingly.

Hike in riverfront camping
They were both so kind and greeted us when we got there. The land was beautiful and there was lots of wild life scurrying around at night which felt like real camping. The trails are very nicely taken care of and I could easily walk them even with an injured ankle. I would definitely recommend this hidden gem!!

Hike in riverfront camping
We had a great time camping here! Tyler and his wife greeted us as soon as we got there and we were able to meet all of their animals as well. Everything is very well set up for a good camping experience.
