At River Ranch Campgrounds, Tuolumne, CA we offer a wide range of activities to make your stay enjoyable. Take a hike on one of the many trails winding through the Stanislaus National Forest at the base of the Sierra Nevada mountains, or cast a line in the North Fork of the Tuolumne River or Basin Creek for some great native fishing. After a long day of exploration, come back to the campgrounds and relax by the firepit or enjoy a picnic in one of our many picnic areas. Activities in the campground include horseshoes and volleyball. We pride ourselves on blending nature and family camping in a safe, serene environment. We offer water hookups and centrally located restrooms with heated showers to make your stay comfortable and convenient.

Excellent campsite, very well maintained between gorgeous hills and with a creek for the kids. No complaints. The facilities are great and the pitches well spaced.

This is a great spot! We were looking for a nice overnight retreat and this was more than we expected. Beautiful views, great camp host and wonderful over all service. We'll definitely be back!

I had a great time staying at the River Ranch Campgrounds! The valley is beautiful and it was so nice to go to sleep to the sounds of the river. Will be returning!

A dream come true!
We stayed at campsite 4M creekside and it was pure magic. Absolutely stunning views. The most quiet and peaceful experience of my life. The campground is very clean and everyone is super nice. Can’t wait to go back.

Repeat camping spot :)
Great place to start our camping experience. lovely campsite and host had a camping neighbor that has been coming to this campsite for over 20 years. Planning our next trip at the moment can't wait to go again worth the drive no doubt about it.
