The Adirondack Halfway Creek Campsites is located in Adirondack Park in 14,5 acres of wooded area with Creek running throughout the site to a lagoon that opens up to Hadlock Pond. Hadlock Pond (also called Lake Hadlock) is located just east of Lake George and is an affordable alternative to Lake George. About 1 mile in length and 43′ at the deepest point, this Southern Adirondack lake is located just inside the Blue Line of Adirondack Park and was established in 1886 with the creation of a dam district. The campsite offers a very affordable place to stay set in a beautiful Adirondack Park with access to all the amenities and fun Lake George and surrounding areas are famous for.
Log Bay and Shelving Rock, home to miles of hiking trails and water access to Lake George (Fort Ann Beach) are located “up the street” from Hadlock Pond and are popular activities among the locals. Lake George Village is 20 minutes away with access to local restaurants and all the activities. Lake George outlets is 15 minutes away, Glens Falls is 20 minutes and Killington VT is 1,5 hr away.
The "Halfway Creek Campsites" is for those who love nature and want to get away from a busy life and recharge with nature's beauty. Enjoy ice cream and mini golf at close by Hillbilly Heaven.The Creek site is located in the middle of the property. The site is close to the creek you can hear while relaxing in a provided hummocks. The Creek site is equipped with a bathroom, hummocks, a fire pit, chairs, a table, and a charcoal grill. There is no generator or shower. The guests are allowed to park 2 cars on the owner's driveway, guest would have to walk to the site accessed from the parking. Pets are allowed. There is a wide variety of wild animals on the property. Please be mindful. There is Stewart's shop 10 min away. The East side of Lake George Fort Ann beach is 15 min away with famous hiking spots, swimming, and free parking. Lake George village is 20 min away.
