A Russian River Rustic and Very Private Retreat. This 1 1/2 acre Paradise that many of our friends call An Adult Disneyland is a magical place to visit. Each of our areas, whether for entertaining or residing, has its own theme and is decorated with care. Each of the listings has it's own private deck or patio and then you have access to all of the common areas on the property We promise you will feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, but you are minutes from everything. Lulu’s Landing and Captain Wack’s Cove is a pirate-themed Creekside hangout, where you can enjoy a fire, except during banned season. Also a great place to capture a glimpse of the numerous critters that cruise our creek. Foxes, Deer, Squirrels, Otters, Ducks and Herons as well as numerous songbirds that feed from our bird feeder. Lulu’s Lanai is a Flamingo-themed outdoor living room and dining area with fun vintage furniture and décor. The Take- A -Liki- Tiki Shower Shack is a great place to cool off and clean up after a day on the river or exploring tidepools at the coast. There is even a puppy bath station behind it for your furry friends! The Wack Shack is our outdoor bar and grill, full of fun, colorful lights and signs. There’s plenty of equipment to cook there: appliances, a BBQ, sink, fridge and walk-up bar. We also have several apple trees, a pear tree, and tons of blackberries when in season to share with our guest. Our Veggie Garden will be available next season to enjoy also. We are constantly improving our property so please stay in the finished designated guest areas only until we open up the coming attractions. There are plenty of sites and destinations within minutes from our home too! We have Tennis, Pickle Ball, and Basketball Courts around the corner. The Russian River/ Monte Rio public beach is a short walk past the Parks and Recreation Center, and they rent Kayaks and Canoes during the summer months. The Redwood Alliance camp is just a few miles up Bohemian Hwy if you dare to zip line through the redwood canopy forest or Armstrong woods in Guerneville for those that would rather keep their feet on the ground and take a hike to enjoy the majestic beauties. Duncan's Mill is a quaint town (less than 3 miles from us) on your way to Jenner by the Sea which is just about 9 miles to the west of us. You can take a gorgeous coastal drive to Bodega that is only 15 miles away. Historic Fort Ross is another beautiful 20 mile coastal drive. Bike Enthusiast love the back roads out here and the Biggest Attraction Is… Wait for it…. Wineries are everywhere! During the summer there are several Music Venues close by too. The Rio Nido Roadhouse has outdoor music on the weekends. Rockin the River is every other Thursday in Guerneville. The Monte Rio Variety Show just celebrated it 111th year to a sold-out crowd. Zac Brown, Steve Miller, Jimmy Buffet, James Taylor are just a few Headliners that have been here in the past. We have a great Lightwave coffee shop across the creek that is a quick 5 minute walk. There are several restaurants along the river as well as a small grocery store, movie theater, and a Homemade Ice Cream Parlor that are all close enough to walk to or drive. Guerneville is a quick 4 mile drive and has a Safeway and many restaurants and quaint shops too. Adults of 21 years or older only please. TOT#4440N

The Boathouse
Lynda and Rich were amazing hosts and we loved every nook and detail on the property! The common area is so lovely and everything is so unique. The bed was very comfy and the wack shack & bathroom hut are awesome too. They were also super helpful on what to do in the area. Would visit again for sure

The Boathouse
Magical Getaway
What a gem! Tucked in the woods and next to a babbling stream, this cabin has everything you need for a spectacular getaway. What really got us was the amazing attention to detail. From the heated mattress if it gets too cold, to the kitchen that has every tool you need for a great meal, and the Adirondack chairs to lounge next to the river - we couldn’t ask for anything more. Not to mention the hosts are awesome people and made us feel so welcome! We will be back.

Cozy Cabin
Book now! Highly recommend!!
Where to start?!! We were greeted by Lynda Lu and Rich (aka wack) and their sweet dog - they gave us a tour of the whole property, which feels like an adult Disneyland, with some fun thematic elements throughout, nicely manicured paths with path lighting, and all the amenities you could ever need. We stayed in the cabin and wanted for nothing! The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you might need, the bed is SO SO comfy, the bathroom is really nice and everything was SO CLEAN. the linens all smelled so clean and heavenly. The cabin and surrounding property were beautifully cared for and manicured. They had some fun board for us to play, so many Seating areas, it was all just so well thought through. There is a back fence that spits you out onto a little creek, then you cross and are 2 minutes on foot to a coffee shop & lunch spot with great food. From There, it’s a 5-7 minute walk to tennis courts, the little town market (with most things you might need), restaurants, and access to the Russian River. The hosts were so beyond kind and helpful. I cannot recommend this place enough and really look forward to visiting again. It really is a little wonderland!!

Cozy Cabin
Lynda , Rich & Bogie were absolutely amazing hosts! Me and my boyfriend spent two nights in their wakaluku wonderland, and it was just about the most perfect getaway we could’ve expected! Lots of exploring, the hot tub was amazing, and there is SO much to do in this amazing wonderland. I won’t give out too much, so you guys can be just as excited / surprised when booking here :) Definitely a first time experience that we will be back for. Anything you guys need, Lynda and Rich are so fast with responses & some of the sweetest people ever. The fire pits are also very easy to use, a lot of seating / cooking areas.

Cozy Cabin
Beautiful, comfortable, quie cabin
Some hosts skimp on amenities because they see their property as only a way to make money; Lynda is not that person. This is a beautiful property that the host has taken great pains (and many years) to shape, improve, and turn into a creative and comfortable oasis for others to enjoy. The land the cabin sits on is covered with trees and sits near a quiet, untrodden tributary of the Russian River. Lynda and her partner have landscaped the property to create the feeling of being in nature while enjoying a well-considered mini-maze of ferns, comfortable sitting areas, an outdoor bar, and more. We experienced little to no traffic or neighbor noise. The aesthetic is a mix of tiki-pop-pirate-meets Antiques Roadshow. The cabin is spacious and comfortable. We found everything we needed inside and more. Lynda provided different sizes of wine glasses, lots of useful dish and serveware, and more than the number of cooking amenities we needed. The bed was comfortable and even had heating blankets already set up. The nearby hot tub, seating area, firepit and grill all seemed new and we used them all. This is a great place to relax, whether you're in a couple or with others. Highly recommend.
