Creature comforts
Enjoy the comforts of home at some sites—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
This location is a private home, turned retreat center in the Santa Cruz Mountains. We are cradled by Mother Nature, in the middle of a Redwood forest, with fresh air and California sun, work together to create an environment that will insulate you from the chaos of today’s hectic lifestyles. Besides camping or overnight stays, we offer retreats to soothe your weary soul. The rooms for rent are part of the home, where I live. We will be sharing space. I have two dogs that live on the property - a British Labrador and a Goldendoodle. Please do not book if you don't like dogs. They are the sweetest dogs you'll meet. They serve to exuberantly welcome you, as well as guard, protect and warn me about unruly UPS drivers and the very scary turkeys that roam the mountains. This property is proudly woman-owned and operated. I love hosting women travelers and have built my tent sites, rooms, cabins, retreats and experiences to cater to women. That is to say, women want a little more comfort, a little more care, a little more thoughtfulness and little more bougie. If that's what you're looking for, this is it! Of course I welcome men too. In fact, there are quite a few men’s’ retreats hosted here. All will be comforted with the smells of the redwoods outside and the smells of fresh baked bread, inside. Come and join me for a night in the woods. Welcome to your Redwood Mountain Retreat, ~Daisy

Daisy is a great Host
Daisy was a great host and we didn’t feel we’re missing anything from home. We had the warmth of the home and was always felt a Home away from Home. I would definitely recommend this place and will visit if I get a chance again.

Gorgeous property! Daisy is such a kind and personable host. She goes above and beyond to make the experience comfortable and tranquil. The hot tub is clean and hot, the scenery is incredible, and there are 2 friendly dogs on the property that are sweet to interact with. I will be back!

For a nature and art lover like me, this place was a dream. Daisy’s forest and home are a unique place to rest in the redwoods and worship the divine feminine. 🙏 We had a wonderful stay camping and appreciated Daisy’s warm welcome and great amenities.

Peaceful Mountain Camping Spot
The camper van spot at Daisy's was perfect for my overnight rest needs. The slight incline didn't bother me, and I slept well. If I'd been there more than one night, I'd consider using levelers on the rear end for added comfort. It was very quiet and peaceful. The bathroom facility was very good, clean, private, great lighting, warm water, & easy to use. Daisy is a very warm and welcoming person, and I felt very comfortable coming into the kitchen for coffee or to ask questions. Others staying there were also super friendly and mellow. The hot tub was nice and warm, private, super-relaxing. Wifi signal was great. The communal deck area with table and chairs had ample morning sunshine with lots of birds to hear and observe. Saw a large red-headed woodpecker. It's a beautiful piece of land, mostly redwoods, high in the mountains, but a short drive down to Scotts Valley. Daisy helped clarify directions by phone, as I wan't sure of my vehicle's gps; she gave clear landmarks and reassurance. I'd stay here again, and highly recommend it for a beautiful place with beautiful people.
