What a view!
Fantastic site. It was nice and level. Clean with easy access to all the utilities. The view of the river is quite spectacular. There is a little grass area just below the camp spots for pets and kids but all the camping area up top is crushed asphalt. Didn't bother us but you will want to have a outdoor rug area and maybe use flip flops/ slides for easy on and off so you don't track too much inside the RV.

Beautiful view for a biking weekend
The view was spectacular. We spent 3 nights, 2 days biking on the New River Trail. Relaxing after our day out was very refreshing. We saw bald eagles, hawks and turkey vultures. Lots of wildlife. Site was very spacious, we were the only ones in the area so very quiet. The black gravel was a little hard on the feet and dusty. It was also on odd set up with the connections in the middle of the site on the passenger side of the camper when we backed in. Usually everything is hooked up on the driver side. We made it work and the hoses were long enough. Just had to stop and readjusted a little before setting up.

Absolutely stunning view AND full hook ups! Quiet and secluded. We met up with childhood friends and set camp in sites 4, 5 and 6 and had all the privacy we could ask for. Despite an 8 hour drive for us we will definitely be back. Highly recommend booking this as fast as you can, when you pull up the hill to the site you’ll see why.
