Went to Valley of the Gods instead
We ended up not staying on the reservation after talking with some fellow travelers. Celia has a pretty strong cancellation policy, so we forfeited our total charged amount of two nights.

Best spot ever !
Le plus bel endroit pour camper! Les hôtes sont adorables et nous ont fait découvrir leur culture, tout ça en plein milieu d'un paysage magnifique 🤩 mention spéciale pour le petit trail qu'on a fait 2 fois, une fois le soir au coucher de soleil et une fois le matin avant de partir... endroit que j'ai quitté avec un pincement au coeur, merci Celia et ta famille pour votre accueil 🧡

Google directions are not enough.
We tried but couldn’t work out how to access Sunrise. Some simple directions from the host would have made a huge difference. For example when Google leads you onto a property with a sign saying “Private, no tourists” then proceed further or turn around or ….

Highly recommended!
The stay was a pure pleasure, Celia and her family are super nice and very hospitable. The campground has all the amenities you need, and the wind protection worked really great on our campsite. Make sure you wake up for the sunrise and do the short walk towards the Valley. It’s priceless! Would definitely go back.

Camping with a spectacular view!
The campsites were beautiful! We felt like we were camping inside Monument Valley, gorgeous. Celia and everyone was super nice and helpful- easy pull up spots and picnic tables with fire rings. Loved it, would definitely stay again the next time we are going through this area:)

Such a special place. Great communication and sweet hosts. Celia accurately knew the wind would die down. A trip of a lifetime
