Prickly Pear Primitive Site
Me and my family loved the stay here . The host is very easy going and thoughtful . Moved around a schedule just to accommodate my late booking . Nice area to walk around the trails they have . Great time for the kids and for the adults to get away as well . This area had more than enough room for our massive tent and the big fire pit is always a plus . 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend .

Lovely Group Camping Experience!
I very much enjoyed being on Kasey’s property. The land was beautiful, and the outhouse was definitely one of the better ones I’ve seen. We shared a walking trail and did hear some people around us and in the morning but nothing too crazy. Around 10am the farm stand opened and we bought some fresh eggs and micro greens. Can’t wait to return! Camp sites were big and had enough room for 2-3 tents. Watch out for scorpions as it starts to get late!

Wellhouse RV Site
Our Hilltop Getaway
We sought a truly special getaway for Mother’s Day weekend to celebrate with my wife and our two young daughters, who love the great outdoors. This was our first foray into dry camping with our 22-ft camper, having mostly camped at state and county parks before.
While the sites are somewhat rustic and could use a bit more clearing, ours was perfectly sized and easy to back into. The campground itself is a charming mix of yurts, tent sites, and a designated area for RVs like ours, with more developments on the way.
Kacey, our host, was nothing short of wonderful. She introduced us to the delights of microgreens, which were not only tasty but also sparked our interest with their health benefits. We’re already looking forward to incorporating more of her farm’s produce into our diets.
Exploring Blanco was a treat—it feels worlds apart from our usual haunts near Dripping Springs, despite its proximity to larger cities like San Antonio and Austin. Kacey’s local recommendations were spot-on; the Rio Blanco Cafe served up delicious meals, and the free outdoor blues concert at a local distillery was a memorable escape from our routine.
Overall, we relished our brief but refreshing break and are eager to return. Kacey’s warm hospitality and the distinct charm of Blanco have left a lasting impression.

Juniper Campsite
Very nice forest property to camp in! We pitched a tent and enjoyed the shady site. The restroom is great. We checked out the camp host green house in the morning and I loved the eggs and the spicy radish micro greens.
