1100 acres of gorgeous natural land at the headwaters of the Medina River. Crystal clear and clean spring feed water. Fourth-generation family owners. Remote camping. Very private with plenty of varied terrain for hiking swimming, tubing, biking or just hanging out in a hammock enjoying the breeze and peace and quiet. About 2 miles as a crow flies from Lost Maples State Park. You drive through a 13,000-acre ranch to get to us. We are at the end of a dead-end road with one way in and one way out. NO FISHING Free firewood for use during your stay and can make a good deal if you want to take some home! As our topo map shows we have a wide variety of terrain ranging from steep cliffs with huge views to shady canyons. The river cuts through the middle of the place and is surrounded by four hills that each have their unique characteristics ranging from flat oak-covered to rocky steep ridges. I guarantee you will find beauty all around. We do have a couple of fun areas to try your 4-wheel drive out.

Beautiful ranch!

Fritz's ranch was beautiful and a great camping spot for anyone wanting to get away. The ladder camping spot was perfect to kick off summer with the spring next to it.

Absolutely breathtaking! Offered great offroading adventures such as river crossings and trails to cliffside views that will leave you speechless. And when you're ready to unwind, the private swimming hole and camping spots provide the ultimate relaxation. A must-visit destination for anyone craving excitement and natural beauty.

The Ladder Swimming Hole

A++ experience

This may be the best campsite I've ever been to! What an amazing property! We were so secluded, not a soul in site. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyonem However we got super duper lost on the way there so make sure you are very clear on directions and download the map. Google maps takes you through private land that you can't pass. Fritzs place was so nice though that we didn't even mind getting lost in the end!

The Teepee

Secluded camping

Fritz was super cool and we loved our stay. Lots of space to explore. If you don't want to camp on top of other people like at state parks, this has the space. I hope he keeps it this way.
