Camping at its best
Semi primitive stay
This is a great location to be near Fredericksburg and Enchanted Rock State park. Camp host was quick to respond and assist via phone/message. My stay was late May and bugs were out. Be ready. The insect candles were a great help. Once night settles, be ready to see some stars and hear some farm animal sounds in the morning. We were lucky to see the Starlink satellites the night before. It was strange to see "stars" lined up in one line.
However, we were not expecting the bumpy and dirt road to get to the camp location. Once we arrived, it was not clear where to go. We ended up at the site with the deck near the out house ( porta -potty). There was some privacy near the front. Did not get to see the sites at the far end.

Camping at its best
Great quiet place to escape.
This place was great. We were the only ones there since there was bad weather. Turned into an amazing experience. My daughter got to experience her tent during a storm in a safe environment. It was quite and secluded while still being close enough to town that she felt comfortable knowing if things got a little to wild we could get somewhere safe. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone.

Beginner camper!
Nice trees and etc. Saw cute horses. But only public restrooms need little remodeling. All were good. Thank you.

Camping at its best
Great location and very close to many nearby points of interest. Multiple locations with great country views, a clean portajon, shower and fire rings during this visit. Grateful to Angela for the opportunity to camp there.
