Our property is a small hobby farm. The meadow you will be camping in was formed in 1994 when hurricane Fran came through and laid down several acres of hardwood trees. The fallen trees were harvested and the land was cleared and a pond was built and a blueberry patch was planted. Enjoy a peaceful evening by the firepit and the beautiful starry nights. We have two very friendly farm dogs that do roam the property and will likely visit you. Chapel Hill, Mebane, and Hillsborough are all short drives from your campsite.Pitch your tent(s) in our private meadow with a small pond on our 21 acre property. Very nice camping site ! Very private, beautiful sunset. We appreciate to have water access to refill our jug. A lot of bugs like flies but with our repellent and campfire that was fine. Very noisy all the night because of bugs, but it was impressive rather than disturbing. Luna the dog is really kind, loved to pet her! Thank you Philipp!

Another great stay! We have stayed before with friends and love the big space, fishing in the pond, on-site bathroom and proximity to Saxapahaw. A great go-to camping spot. We will be back!

Weekend with the Dogs

We had such a wonderful time at Phillip's pond & meadow. It was the perfect weekend getaway. It was so peaceful. We had a group of 10, plus 3 dogs. There was plenty of space for the dogs to explore. One of them particularly loved the pond. There are many places to set up camp. We took Phillip's recommended spot between the fire pit and the tree line which provided shade in the morning but the afternoon pretty brutal. However, during the afternoon it's easy enough to just move chairs and activities to the shaded area on the far side of the pond, near the small apiary. Bees were not a problem at all. It was great having easy access to a bathroom, shower and fridge. Everything was clean. I believe there are 2 dogs on the property. We met Luna and she was so sweet. Our dogs were little jerks so she stayed away mostly but everyone was so excited the few times we got to see her. There's a Walmart about 10 minutes away so if you forget anything, it's a quick drive to the store. Phillip is super responsive, even recommended a music festival in town for the weekend. It was just a great weekend and I look forward to coming back in the fall.

Perfect in every way!

Simply amazing! The camp spot was private, quiet, easy to access, and the pond is full of plenty of fish eager to caught. Not to mention the sweet and friendly doggie who quickly became our camping buddy. We loved everything about our stay here and my kids won’t stop talking about it. We will be back time and time again. It really is the perfect camping spot! Thank you Phillip for the prompt and clear communications. We appreciate you sharing your slice of paradise with us!
