Comfortable and clean site with nice bathrooms/showers, community fire pit, & laundry. Close to Tahoe but Truckee itself is also a very cute town!

Great place to camp!
Little cramped with the packed in, back to back rvs and trailers. Overall though, it was a great experience! Everyone was friendly, it was clean, dog park was wonderful. Loved the amenities. I would absolutely stay again 😄

I’ll start with what it’s not: spartan. From the taco truck on Friday to the 50 amp hookups to a gym just off the clubhouse, you’re hardly doing without at Coachland. Well within walking distance of two breweries and dining, but among mature trees and paths, the place has it all. After the initial shock of being RIGHT next to the driver side neighbor, we barely noticed one-another’s presence.

Site 57 is all soft dirt. A concert slab is always a better call when leveling a trailer and trying to stay clean. The view of the permanent homes next to our site was not disclosed and it’s not a great view. Overall the campground was clean and quiet and the location was great.

I was actually assigned site #98 for both of my stays, which is different from what Hipcamp thought, but it was a good site. It was at the farthest part of the park, meaning it was quite a walk to the two bathrooms, but, realizing that I'd been assigned the same site again on my return stay, I just parked my van at the bathrooms and showered before even parking at the campsite.

Great stay!
A beautiful spot, covered in trees and that fresh mountain air. Can not recommend enough!
