Welcome to our farm that dates back to 1916, where you can set up camp amidst our more than 10 acre farm. This charming spot is perfect for a getaway to rest, recharge, and explore the outdoors! About the Property: The rolling hills, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and the bountiful wild flowers do not disappoint if you are looking for a peaceful time away. The property itself is wonderful to explore - whether that be wandering through the vineyard at sunset, or talking a walk on the farm and saying hi to our goats, chickens, and cows. We are located about 30 minutes from Shenandoah National Park, New Market Battlefield, and the Skyline Drive, which is stunning any time of year! Campers can enjoy hiking, biking, kayaking, and visiting wineries. There is something for everyone to do! We are also near the town of New Market, VA if you need to head into town and pick up some necessities. We really enjoy meeting campers and providing suggestions about what to do on and around our property, though we also respect guests' need for privacy and quiet-time if that is preferred. We want you to enjoy your time here. We welcome you to take a look at our various listing options. Come and pitch your tent at one of our four designated campsites or stay at our property cottage or barn loft in the picturesque Virginia countryside. Site 2 - B & M Journey Farm - Tent Camping

I came with my kids and had a great time on the property. Great hosts. Lots of awesome pictures with animals on the farm, sunrise, camp fire, etc. Close to Shenandoah for day hikes.

It was great staying at B&M Journey Farm again! Mike and Brittany are great hosts. It is a great central location to get to local hikes. We are considering going back in October for the Applebutter Festival!

Site 3 camping

We loved our stay on the farm, the hosts were very kind upon arrival. My family and I stayed at site 3 which was pretty secluded and had a nice fire pit and tent setup area. My boys loved the goats and chickens!

Site 4 - B & M Journey Farm - Tent Camping

Beautiful land and welcoming hosts!

We loved camping on Mike & Britney’s land. The views from every piece of the land are beautiful, there are so many animals about to snuggle with, the gardens and land are so well maintained. It feels like a place that is well loved but not only that but Mike & Britney are so kind - Mike greeted us and gave us the lay of the land and then we got to talking and Britney joined and it was such a lovely warm welcoming interaction. The time we spent with them and their land was a highlight of our trip. I hope to return and I recommend visiting!

Great spot for a DC camp get away

Tent camping is easy when there’s water and firewood onsite! Fun to visit the goats and a good homebase for hiking. I imagine it’s an even prettier location later in the spring and early summer Had the pick of 2 campsites. One had some overgrowth in the fire pit and the other didn’t have a flat spot under a tree so I chose a spot in the field. Ended up being a good call because the morning sun was a welcome warmth with chilly mornings

Site 3 - B & M Journey Farm - Tent Camping

Tent camping at Mike’s was amazing! Mike was extremely accommodating, and was very generous with everything on the farm. Staying in the barn was also great shelter from any rain, and the beds in the barn were both comfortable. The campsite was kept very clean, and communicating with Mike was easy and quick. Getting to say hi to the animals on the farm was an added bonus! Highly recommend both the tent campsite and barn stay.
