This majestic property is home to white-tailed deer, gray squirrels, red fox, several species of woodpecker are heard throughout the day and owls at night. Red-tailed hawks roost in the treetops when they are not soaring over the trees. It's just a 1 mile hike to some of the amazing Akron Metroparks Sand Run and Naturealm facilities. Learn more about this land: The camp area sits in a mature hardwood forest surrounded by ravines. Access from street after a short hike. A short walk from indoor bathroom, water and electric. Thornhill Bluff

We loved tent camping on Gary and Audrey’s land. When you drive up it definitely catches you off guard because it is a residential area but Their house sits on a few acres so you just need to follow a trail into the woods and you have your own secluded campsite far away from anyone else. The other thing my kids really enjoyed was throughout the property there were activities like a zip line, a trampoline and different swings to play on. Gary communicated well and was available if we needed anything for our trip. We would recommend to anyone and will likely return.

Beautiful!

This place is beautiful ! It rained during my visit so I didn’t get to check it all out, but there’s so much hiking in the area, and even on this property there is a half mile trail and a trampoline and zip line . Plenty of firewood and nice lighting . This was my first time using Hipcamp, and I’d say it’s a winner ! Host was super friendly and helpful as well.

10/10 Would Camp Again

This was our first time using Hipcamp and what an awesome experience it was! Gary and Aubrey have such a lovely home/campsite, and were very accommodating and welcoming hosts. The campsite itself is very private as it’s tucked away in the far corner of their backyard and surrounded by beautiful wooded scenery. We definitely hope to come back to this campsite again soon!

We had a wonderful stay!

Gary & Audrey are friendly and giving, people who you would inspire to be like. There property is beautiful and private. A wonderful place for a romantic getaway or a place to feel safe and get in touch with nature. There are a good amount of places to go to outside of there home if you need some entertainment or food. We will definitely be going back, thank you Gary & Audrey 💖🌠✌

Beautiful property, great camping space , and great hosts. We loved our stay there…so close to Cuyahoga Valley National Park and many other fun outdoor activities. I would highly recommend this site.
