Learn more about this land: Canyon and orchard views await. Only a short drive (≈2.5 Miles) or bike ride to Palisade, less then a mile to vineyards and wine tasting.  BookCliff Vinyards, Vines 79 Winery, Savage Spectrum Winery all within 1.5 miles.  Clark Family Orchards, Juicy Acers, Ball Fruit, and Cunningham Orchards also with 1.5 miles if you are looking for fresh fruit.  A put in to the Colorado river is also close by (≈2 miles) if you are looking for a leisurely float. Palisade Rim Trail and Mount Garfield trail are also near by for those looking for a hike or bike adventure.  The newly opened Palisade Plunge mountain bike trail which takes you from over 10000' to 4700' exits just about 2 miles below the camp site if you are looking for a thrill. A rustic camp site with privacy and access great night sky viewing and amazing sunsets and sunrises.Canyon and orchard views await. Really amazing views! Close to town but so quiet and peaceful. Our dog had a blast running around leaping over Sage brush.

This site was the Goldilocks of camp sites. Super close to Palisade, but just far enough out on a hill to have gorgeous views of the surrounding mesas. Close enough to the host if you needed anything, but far enough away to feel private. Matt gave fantastic instructions and had great communication. Far and away our best hipcamp experience!

Had a great stay while driving through to Utah. Matt was very communicative, and the directions to the campsite were easy. I had a great time exploring the land with my two dogs and will definitely stay again when passing through.

Great spot
Really nice spot. We had a van, a tent, and a 13'x13' canopy and there was plenty of space. Such an easy drive into town. You can see Bookcliff Vineyards from the spot.

Amazing views, great space!
Beautiful views and close to downtown Palisade (we walked in for dinner and a beer, about 2.5 miles). There is a bit of glass at the campsite and surrounding area, we did our best to pick up what we could find, it wasn't a big issue but is there.

Convenient and peaceful
Serene location conveniently located near 70. It was a very tight squeeze out of the site with our 8 foot trailer and Sorento SUV.
