Musick Creek Falls is 40 acres that lies just south of Shaver Lake. At an elevation of, 4800ft (1.65 km). The land is in a green and lush state of regrowth following the Creek Fire of four years ago. Exhibiting novel and intriguing wildflowers such as Sierra Manzanita, sweet peas, Indian paintbrush, and cedars. The terrain is natural, beautiful, and rugged. This property boasts three exquisite cascading waterfalls, hiking trails, 4×4 roads, hunting, rock climbing, and stargazing opportunities. With proximity to Shaver Lake, and China Peak Ski Resort, you are just minutes from any outdoor activity imaginable. Including but not limited to; hiking, water and snow skiing, fishing, boating, star gazing and sooo much more. The road into the property, although being maintained by us and the community, can be a challenge for vehicles very low to the ground. There is water, and trash and a composting outhouse on site. My husband and I stay here on site as much as the weather permits, to serve out heaping amounts of privacy, or hospitality. It's up to you. Please explore everywhere. Be sure to check out all 3 waterfalls, and Shaver Lake. Don't stay gone too long, though, as just about every night, there is an unforgettable sunset and sounds and smells of the Sierra Nevada. The experience is supernatural. There is powerful medicine here. It's undeniable. The weather is very mild most of the year, where a sweat shirt is perfect most nights and not too hot in the day We have kayaks available for use free of charge. Musick Creek Falls offers an affordable option, whereas campgrounds and cabins in the area are often booked up and very expensive. Most cell phones have good reception throughout the property. We also have spare tents and camping gear, blankets etc. if you forget something. Please be courteous to our neighbors, as the Golden rule is the law of the land. We appreciate your support more than you know, and we thrilled to share this amazing place with our Hipcamp community. Musick Cove

You guys!! Listen, what an amazing site. Lovers cove/Waterfall site is incredible to say the least. BUT here’s the kicker.. If you have a chance to meet Shandie and her partner you will find out they might be more amazing than the site! I’m a single father that loves the outdoors.l as do my kids. We all know how camping goes. You make a list of items.. pack them.. swear you have everything and find out you’re missing something. Well, we were missing our inverter and couldn’t air up our mattresses or charge devices. Yes, I still had phone service in this area. Luckily Shandie was there to meet us and give us great hiking tips about the property! They saved us and were kind enough to lend us a cot and a memory foam mattress!! What a blessing. We slept great.. the waterfall was so tranquil for my group. The sunset was amazing the northern lights came through that night. Gorgeous place to be. There’s so much to see. 3 waterfalls.. old school railroad stuff.. we searched for lady bug nest but we got worn out before locating it. They have an awesome compost outhouse my kids loved walking to. It’s lit up so cute at night. They offered to let my son ride the small quad they had. I think it was a 90. All in all it was a spectacular experience for both myself and my kids. I’ve already told shandy she will be hearing from us every time we plan to camp. See you soon!

Lower Falls

Best campsite I’ve been so far!

I couldn’t ask for a better Mother’s Day weekend spent at this site! Shandie was incredibly helpful with directions. Lower Level falls had everything for my 5 kids to explore and venture, the views alone from the deck, abundance of fire wood, clean bathroom and of course we don’t need a shower, we had the best spot to walk to the falls and take a dip. Our family practice cold plunges so the cold water was a great experience. We hiked to 3 different falls easy enough with my little one. My 2WD SUV got stuck ascending back up from the site but a little push from my 5 kids I was able to wiggle out of it. That will not discourage me from returning, my family definitely loved camping here. Thanks Shandie!

Couldn't recommend the lagoon more. Campsite was just as gorgeous as past campers say, and my partner and I left so grateful Shandie and Jesse shared it with us. They absolutely rocked as host!

Lower Falls

We loved camping on Shandie's land! It was beautiful and well kept and we felt very much at home. The detailed directions she provided made it easy to find Musick Creek Falls. Shandie made sure to check in on us when we arrived, and even lent us a camping heater for the cold night. There was a nice hiking trail right on the property and the water fall was beautiful to look at and hear. We'd love to return!

Musick Cove

My little family and I enjoyed our stay so much! We had the waterfalls to ourselves, it was amazing! I love how beautiful the campsite was and really secluded. Shandie and Jessie were very welcoming and super nice! We’ll definitely be back!!
