Welcome to Grassy Road Cabins and Camping. Here you will find 23 acres of rolling pasture accented by patches of forest and at the center a large recreational fishing pond. Placed perfectly in between two popular Buffalo National River Access Points: South Maumee and Spring Creek. Grassy Road currently offers: two tiny house cabins, 5 tent sites with 20 amp electric, 3 more primitive tent sites, and 10 RV sites that are full water/sewer hookups with 20/30/50 amp service. There is a private two unit bathhouse with hot showers! This campground is designed to operate remotely through partners like Hipcamp without owners or managers always on site. All check-ins and check-outs will be done self service. The owners have kayaks and life jackets that are available to borrow they ask that you message them before and be sure to return them in good condition. There is firewood for sale provided by a neighboring friend. There are several trails that criss-cross the property, and we encourage everyone to explore just be safe and try to give other vacationers their privacy.

What a gem!! This location is perfect for floating the Buffalo River. The layout of the campground was great and we had an amazing time! Very quaint and quiet. I was hesitant to share this campground because selfishly we want it all to ourselves lol but all our friends know about it now!! Shower houses were a perfect addition and the tree house platform was SO cute! Definitely going to bring the kiddo next time 🥰 Can't wait to come back!!

Had such a great experience tent camping on Jonathon’s land! It was so beautiful and spacious, everything was very clean and comfortable. Jonathon was also incredibly kind and welcoming!! I can’t wait to stay here again!! ◡̈

Sunrise Valley Overlook site 8
This campsite was amazing and the location was perfect for our float trip. We used Crockett Canoe, just down the road from Grassy Road, to shuttle us and had a wonderful experience. The campsite was clean and well maintained, easy to access and peaceful.

Large Pull-Through RV site 7
My husband and I enjoyed the setting with fields, hills and a small pond, all surrounded by woods. It felt secluded and private. The full RV hookups were so convenient. The bathrooms are really nice. The location worked well for floating on and hiking near the middle Buffalo River. Jonathan was a great host. He replied quickly to all of our correspondences. We'll be back.

Nice new campground!
Brand new facility, with a nice shower house, camp sites for both tents and RVs, and a beautiful pond. We had a nice shaded site for our RV, with power, water and dump. Will definitely be back! Close to the Buffalo National River!
