Looking for a personal retreat or get away ? Escape to our beautiful, RUSTIC 32 acre wild homestead / farm. What do we mean by "rustic" ? The camping experience we offer is about unplugging from the modern world , getting back to basics, and re-connecting with the land. Our campsites do not have electricity and there is no wifi on the land. Campsites are nestled in the woods. So although your vehicle will be parked within 50 ft or so from site, you cannot pull directly up to the site because of the trees. Feel free to wander through the herb gardens, eat your meals in the garden pavilion (we have picnic tables there and hammocks), get your Zen on in the meditation hut , and stroll through the woodland medicine path where we grow endangered and at at risk plant plants. (Please note that the woodland medicine path goes to seed by the Fall and is usually munched down by the deer by then, but is still a nice short stroll in the woods). We love dogs...but please leave them at home.

Peace In The Woods

Hillary's land is great for camping! Sites are spread out and feel private. Communication was also a big plus - clear directions before arriving and heading straight to the campsite saved us time. We will book again if we are in the area.

Cosmic Cottage

Perfect Tranquility

The Cosmic Cottage was adorable and very clean. Perfect for a getaway. Despite consistent rain all weekend, it cleared up and we were able to explore a bit right before we left. It was beautiful, very quaint and peaceful. We are already talking about a trip back (hopefully with better weather).

Tiny Treehouse on the Farm

We were two middle-aged friends wanting a little adventure, and the treehouse fit the bill. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the deck with the moon above us through the trees. The place is conveniently close to Shepherdstown, where we ate, but felt peaceful and somewhat woodsy. The bed is just a thin futon on wooden planks, so I won’t say it was super comfortable, but it would be probably be nice with a pad. We appreciated having a screened roomed to sleep in, and the decorations added a homey touch.

Would 100% come again!

Such a lovely campsite! Beautiful location and grounds; we loved getting the chance to check out everything :) Beware for those using Apple Maps as the directions send you down the wrong driveway, but if you go just a little further you'll see the sign Thank you all!
