Waterfront Cabin at The Oasis
As experienced backpackers and travelers, our stay at Bear Run Farms truly exceeded all expectations, marking it as our best experience to date. The secluded setting offered a tranquil escape, with mornings greeted by the enchanting view of a blue spring and evenings highlighted by the hospitality of our hosts, Amber and Larry. Their delightful steak skewers and homemade treats brought a taste of local flavor to our adventure. The property itself is a pristine haven, featuring sprawling fields, dense forests with hiking trails, and a crystal-clear lake, perfect for swimming. This vibrant ecosystem, rich in natural beauty and meticulously maintained, offers endless opportunities for exploration and relaxation. We're already planning a return trip to this idyllic retreat, eager to delve deeper into what Bear Run Farms offers.

Waterfront Tent Site 1
This wasan authentic mountain property with a picturesque blue water pond. I could not contact the host while there due to lack of cell service though.

Waterfront Cabin at The Oasis
Even though the weather didn’t cooperate we had an incredible time in the serene cozy cabin. Hope to visit in the summer when we can enjoy the beautiful lake!

Rushing Creek Waterfall Site

We really enjoyed our stay at Ambers creek waterfall campsite, Amber and her husband were very accommodating. We stayed on a rainy weekend and they made sure we were comfortable during our camping retreat by bringing us dry firewood, extra lanterns, and made sure our camping experience was comfortable. The campsite is private with a creek front fire pit that’s right next to a beautiful waterfall so you can hear the rushing water throughout the night, it’s a peaceful remote campsite. The property also has a beautiful natural blue lake, and offer cabins if you prefer a glamping experience. I would recommend staying at Ambers property and look forward to more camping adventures there!

Great camping site on a wonderful property hosted by the nicest people. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to camp out next to a scenic view of the blue water.
