Relax and restore on the top of the hill on our 20-acre, private property. You'll have the property and 750-square foot cabin to yourself. With views of Mt. Adams, the Simcoe mountains, and a million stars, you can hike, star gaze, and enjoy fireside games at this updated cabin with a classic aesthetic. This is off-grid with electric lighting. We have a sink and pump that provides running water like a household sink. There is a porta-potty near the house and an outdoor heated shower. You'll bring your bedding, extra water for showering, and towels to make yourself comfortable. We have blankets and kitchen equipment as well as an outdoor grill and solo stove firepit. Come recharge among nature.Klickitat View Cabin was built in 2005 and is an off-grid cabin with solar electricity, water via an electric pump at the sink, and a complete kitchen with a gas range and oven. Stay warm with our gas fireplace and enjoy the millions of stars and 20 acres of privacy and views of Mt. Adams. The outhouse near the cabin has a traditional toilet with gravity-fed water. A hot propane shower is accessible on the front porch. The property sits on a hill with direct views of Mt. Adams and the Simcoe Mountains. Privacy, peace and quiet. It is an excellent retreat for a writer, artist, or family who wants to unplug and spend time together. Fifteen minutes to Goldendale and its amenities.

Amazing Property
Wow! This is an incredible piece of property with a perfect off grid cabin. We did not hear a car or mower or chainsaw the entire time we were there. The oak savanna is really unique and beautiful. The house is bright and and feels larger than it is. All amenities you need are there as described for cooking and keeping warm clean and comfortable. It feels like a real persons cabin not a generic Airbnb. Lovely! We are already planning our return.

Lovely private cabin
Nice private cabin but just 15 minutes or so from town. Owners provided great instructions and have cabin stocked with basic essentials for cooking, cleaning, and having fun! We loved the loop path around property which gave us opportunity to play off leash within our dog.

KLICKITAT VIEW CABIN
The cabin was easy to find, at the end of a very well maintained dirt road. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The gas fireplace quickly warmed up the whole cabin. Well stocked kitchen. All we had to do was bring the food. The compost toilet on the front porch added to the adventure. Great spot for sunset views and stargazing.

We had such a nice and relaxing time at Sean’s cabin. Up on the top of a hill with beautiful views of the mountains, it’s very peaceful and quiet. The cabin has all the comforts one might need. We would definitely come back!

Great secluded spot
We loved staying at the cabin! It is quiet and peaceful. We drove from Vancouver, Washington, so only about a 2 hour drive for us, but it felt very remote once we were out there. Once we got the cabin warmed up with the fireplace, everything was very comfortable. I like how simple the set up is, only what you need. We really enjoyed the fire pit as well. I chose this place in particular because it looked like the dog could run free. This was the best decision; she had the time of her life. Thank you!

KLICKITAT VIEW CABIN
Beautiful glamping location!
My 2 friends and I had a wonderful time here at the cabin. There is plenty of land to explore, beautiful views, and enough amenities to make the glamping experience comfortable and easy-going. Several steps up from tent camping, and a small step down from a typical airbnb 'cabin' rental. The affordable stay felt cozy, quaint and homey. Would certainly return!
