We are a 15 acre farm on the shores of Swan Lake with plenty of campsites sites on the property, accommodating tents, mid sized campers and RV's. No children under 16 please. Depending on how crowded we are, privacy varies, but on most weekends you can be out of site of other campers. Many campsites have fire-pits already, but you're welcome to make your own anywhere you'd like. While camping, you may be visited by over 100 friendly, free roaming FARM ANIMALS! (We just had BABY GOATS born in early May and expect more at the end of June!) You may feed the animals anything you bring, but please don't let them eat plastic bags! We cannot offer reimbursement for tents damaged by animals. This is extremely rare, but it CAN happen. If you do not wish to put your tent at risk, please do not camp here. The farm was once an old bungalow colony and has some glass and metal still in the soil. Please wear shoes. Firewood is available at several locations around the farm. There is a heated sink and shower in the back corner of our main camping area. Boats are available at our lakeside dock, so you can boat to our corner store or venture into the wild north end of Swan Lake. There's a tall mountain for hiking and an awesome secret swimming hole, both within a 10 minute drive. Enjoy a child free visit, as we do not allow children under 16 years old. Follow us on Instagram or Facebook: @beaverwoodfarmersOur 15 acre farm has both a wooded area and lakeside pastures. We have plenty of sites available to accommodate tents and small RV's.  There are many fire-pits, a hot shower, flush and composting toilets and 2 sinks. There is firewood for sale at several locations around the farm. Two wheel drive should get you to just about any site. No children under 16 years old allowed. On the farm we have over 100 friendly, free roaming farm animals including: our donkey, cows, sheep, goats, all with babies in the springtime. The animals are NOT fenced in here, so they come right into your campsite. We cannot offer reimbursement for tents damaged by animals. This is extremely rare, but it CAN happen. If you do not wish to risk your tent, please do not camp here. Also, we get quite full and busy on holidays, so plan accordingly. Upon arrival, we will greet you, but then let you be for the remainder of your stay.   If you'd like to explore our local area, you can take a canoe or kayak to our corner store, or drive to Walnut Mountain (for 100 mile views) and The Gorge (our secret swimming hole) just 5 minutes away. Camp with Friendly Farm Animals
Absolutely must do!!
We had the most amazing time camping on the farm!! We stayed for two nights in a tent and loved every second of it! The animals are so friendly and used to being around humans so they didn’t mind all the hugs and attention I gave them. There were even baby goats and baby cows! Paul and Mary were also great and went above and beyond to make our stay fun. We will definitely be back!

Camp with Friendly Farm Animals
Great People, great animals, great
I arrived on a Saturday mid-afternoon just before the rain and was greeted at the entry by Mary who was cradling a baby goat in her arms as she gave me the run down on the layout and provided a link to a map of the farm. There is WiFi available to access the link if needed. I found a spot away from the two other occupied campsites and took a stroll to get a feel for the place. No matter where you decide to set up, there's a firepit within yards, and there's good seasoned firewood available all around for a great price. The bathroom and the shower/ sink are all a quick walk. There's kayaking too, also a short walk,(across the road) to a big lake, which is aside from the one along side the farm. Paul was a great host and stopped by to chat and the conversation led to him telling me about how Beaverwood Farms developed. The animals have free rein and are very used to people and seem to know who is, isn't receptive to a visit. That being said, once fed, not unlike seagulls, whoever is around will alert to the food and join in. Do your best to feed fairly and reserve a bit for whoever isn't there at the moment. Don't forget to get some food for yourself, ask what they have to cook on-site or take home, you will not be disappointed. I got eggs and ribeyes from the farm , next time I'm getting the ground beef to make burgers there. The astounding amount of overwhelmingly positive reviews are there for a reason, but don't take my word for it, Go! see for yourself!

Camp with Friendly Farm Animals
Awesome camp
Overall had an awesome stay. The path to the camp sites was a little rough (felt bad for car) but once parked was greater by a baby cow and baby goats. The camp was clean and quiet and I could not recommend it enough.

Camp with Friendly Farm Animals
Great time - unique experience
Kind hosts, awesome animals and if you come at the right time they may have fresh beef for sale! 10/10 would recommend. Keep your food secure and your pets (if any) close. Peaches the pig 🐖 can be sneaky. ;)
