Bourbon Trail Tent Camping
A truly great camping experience!
Some friends and I were cycling through Kentucky, and Gloria's land was the perfect spot for the end of a long day. Tranquil and plenty of space. The hosts were super friendly and communicated with us every step of the way. Loved this place and would gladly recommend it to anyone!

Beautiful land/Great host
We booked last minute and the host Gloria “Denise” was quick to respond to questions. Both she and her dogs were super friendly and welcoming when we got there. Camping is in a beautiful field with a creek at the bottom of the hill and a fire pit. Camping is spaced far enough from other campers that you feel like you’ve got the place to yourself. There is one port-a-potty at the entrance to the camping area. It was oversized and super clean inside. Our stay was only one night for a concert in Lexington. The drive to Rupp Arena and back was easy from this location. We will definitely be back!

Bourbon Trail Tent Camping
Amazing camping spot!
We had an absolutely wonderful time camping here! The property is beautiful, and very well maintained. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, and a pleasure to talk to and hang out with. We were able to enjoy fishing in the pond, hiking around the property, and taking in the wonderful views. I enjoy bird watching, and there was plenty of that right from our campsite as well! Facilities are very well maintained and easily accessible.
We had a concert in Lexington but wanted to experience the outdoors of KY while in the area, and Denise and Matt's property fit that bill perfectly! We had such a great time there that we are already planning a trip back with our kids!
I've never used this site before this trip, nor have I ever camped on someone's private property, but this experience certainly made me willing to do so much more in the future!

This was a nice property. Excellent communication from the hosts who met us on arrival. We had our choice of location and selected a private spot with firepit. Super great hosts. We would stay here again.
