Site 7 - High Swamp Camp
Amazing Site, Follow Directions!!
Amazing accommodations at this site! The bathroom was well maintained and very clean, the outdoor shower was private, and the campsites were equipped with a fire ring/picnic table. Make sure to follow the hosts directions however, as taking the route from google maps will lead you down logging roads. With poor connection and little knowledge of the area, it was also incredibly helpful to get pointers from Chris on places to visit and how to get to each! The site is only a half mile or so off of M77, if you make more than one turn from there you are going the wrong way!!

High Swamp Camping
We loved tent camping on Chris's land and will definitely be coming again! He was very nice and helpful with directions when needed. The flush toilet is a nice amenity and the outdoor shower is so refreshing!! I think we were the first to use it! At this site you're close to Pictured Rocks and a couple hours from Mackinac Island Ferry.

Site 1 - High Swamp Camp
Spectacular!
We loved staying here! It was our first time in the UP and this site did not disappoint. The site was very spacious and a short walk to the outhouse. The outhouse was extremely clean and a hot shower at the end of the day was the cherry on top. Very quiet even with people staying around us. Chris was a great and friendly host. Mosquitos were definitely present but nothing that a few thermacells canât handle. Overall we had an amazing experience and canât wait to be back.

Site 2 - High Swamp Camp
Nice, quiet, clean.
Nice quiet place to camp. No picnic tables. Flushable toilet is great. Chris offered his cabin shower since it was too cold to shower outside. Coffee and warm fireplace were a welcomed morning treat in the cabin. Really close to a couple of towns and great hikes.
