I have been on this land for 40 years and have improved it but let nature reign. Animals that have passed through, and some have stayed: Birds, turkeys, owls, coyotes, bear , moose, deer, bobcat, squirrels, chip monks, voles and mice, raccoon, possum, fox, and fisher. Eggs and veggies for sale in season.

Blue heron Van, camper, RV site
We had a great experience camping in Kris' RV site. Off the beaten path and and very relaxing and laid back. Kris was a great host and was very knowledgeable about the area she loves so much. Thanks Kris!

Glamping: indoor double bed room
The room was exactly as described. The vibe of Blue Heron was full of life and creative spirit — a great place to land!

Blue Heron lawn Camp
The area was very quiet and had extremely low traffic. A great hot outdoor shower was available and the composting outhouse was fine. It was enjoyable to get away from city life and walk the property. An additional bonus was a robust firepit with free firewood included as well as ringside chairs. We enjoyed talking to Kris. Would love to go again.

Cozy Conversational Campfire
Cozy convenient Van/car camping spot in the woods with access to amenities. Close to owner Kris’s house so not much privacy, but I enjoyed talking with her and other folks there around a roaring campfire.
