Surrounded by Rocky Gap State Park, you have the best of all worlds -- camping with creature comforts on private property with 4 acres of woodlands, meadow and orchards, with walkable access to over 20 miles of hiking and mountain biking trails and swimming, hike to kayak/canoe/paddleboard rental on Lake Habeeb and great nature programs by park staff, plus golf course and casino at the Rocky Gap Resort. Historic downtown Cumberland, MD is just a 12-min drive away, with supermarkets, shops, restaurants, train rides and beautiful mountain views. Check out the C&O Canal Towpath and Great Allegheny Passage for hiking and biking. FYI: - Hot-water showers, flush toilets and an equipped kitchenette with small fridge and microware are available for your use. - A picnic table, fire pit, and two Adirondack chairs are available at each campsite for your use. - Wifi available. - Farm fresh eggs are available for purchase from your hosts. Evergreen Grove Campsite
We had a wonderful experience camping at WonderWoods. The facilities were well thought out, well maintained, and meticulously cleaned. The host was attentive and extremely friendly. It's a win all around. We wouldn't hesitate for a second to stay there again.

Pine Meadow Campsite
Kristen was very friendly and helpful. There was a kitchen set up I hadn’t expected. A great place to relax and day trip from or just stay put and read a book

Evergreen Grove Campsite
Terrific place! We spent two nights here with kids and Kirsten was a fantastic host, the grounds were beautiful, the shed had everything we needed — clean bathrooms, water, kitchen supplies — and the kids had a blast watching the chickens. Great location too. Highly recommended.

Pine Meadow Campsite
Awesome!
Kristen greeted me upon arrival to show me around. The property is beautiful! There is a brand new cabin that has a hotel quality shower with towels and shampoo. There is a kitchen with fresh coffee, freshly laid eggs, cold beer. There is firewood available. Picnic tables. This is the most awesome Hipcamp and host that I have encountered. Don’t hesitate to reserve!

You might get brownies and eggs!
Kristen and her family were wonderful hosts! We had our privacy to enjoy ourselves, but they continuously went out of their way to make the stay excellent. They even gave us farm fresh eggs and some of the best brownies I have had! I would highly recommend. You won’t regret it!
