Uncle Charlie’s Ranch is an escape from the big city, we are only 45 minutes from Denver. Our property hosts the experience of Colorado’s nature and so much more; we offer therapeutic spring water soaks, warmed via our wood burning stove, fresh mountain spring drinking water and easy access to local trails and fun. Our lake is paddle board friendly, and while we do not offer fishing on the property, there are several locations nearby to fish. Message us for more information regarding camp sites and things to do!Our property includes 30 acres of lake views, grassy meadows and secluded forest spots that are all accessible for camping. The property is surrounded by 7000+ acres of Arapahoe National Forest. We are 5 minutes from the Hidden Treasure mountain trail, 8 minutes to Black Hawk/Central City and 20 minutes to Nederland. You can hike, mountain bike and paddle board, all within our property lines. Uncle Charlie’s Ranch

We had a lovely evening at Uncle Charlie’s Ranch. Matthew was able to accommodate us super last minute and greeted us warmly when we arrived. We had a ton of space to ourselves, nestled close to the trees where we could hang a hammock, with plenty of room around the fire pit to hang out at night and make coffee in the morning while enjoying a view of the mountains. Would definitely recommend!

Matthew was very quick to respond with any questions we had leading up to the trip. He was very welcoming upon arrival and got us straight to our spot. The spot had a lot of privacy with lots to do on property between the water and walking trails. Would definitely stay here again!

Great camping spot right on the water. Lots of privacy the host, Matt, was wonderful. He helped get me set up and Left me to enjoy the land. Very close to Golden Gate so got to do some hiking on Saturday. Was lucky enough to experience, sun, clouds, cold, wind, snow and rain lol welcome to life above 9000 feet. The snowstorm last night was definitely interesting😂😂

Forest seclusion

A very quiet stay deep up in the forest! We were the only ones tenting up above the property and enjoyed the seclusion and capacity to have a safe spot for a campfire.
