Delta Shores Tent Camping

Great trip for partners or families

My husband and I came here last minute for a kid-free extended weekend. We've camped throughout CA and other states (OR, WA, ID, UT, NV SD, NM, CA, AZ) so we’ve had our share of properties, KOAs and BLM land. This site has the best community and staff/Security, who engage well with everyone. Kids play together, and the property has tons of activities (Pool/Ping pong/mini golf/patio hangout area/play structure for kids/basketball court/volleyball. They host fun events for all ages on Fridays and Saturdays. We preferred staying at our site, which was near the playground and RVs. The entrance and office area are livelier, where the tents and first row of RVs. Many others camp here with their RVs and tents, and it's clear people love it. We visited Galt (30 min), Lodi (28 min), and Elk Grove (38 min) nearby and went paddle boarding at B&W Resort down the street *the current can be strong depending where you go, ask the locals at B&W Resort and be careful if you go out*. We’d be coming back here again with or without the kids, we enjoyed our stay and wished we could have extended!
